Sorry to be a let down Witmann but I won't be entering. I did intend to but what with so much (drinking) going on over the holiday period I just forgot and as the first name on my list would have been Murray (for reasons outlined in other threads, mainly consisting of the fact that I hate the Jock tit) and he's played so well this week, well....I'm sure you understand.

There will be some big changes at the top after the end of the Oz Open - Bigkegman will get hauled back and looking at the QFs to date the big winners will probably be RCGills and Jimmy T although Kiko and Traeth will be hoping their star players (Fed and Nadal) will perform/

Big winner is Jimmy T who managed to get on the board with all his selections. Beanie is steady as she goes and the Kegman has a bit of a mare to get knocked of his perch. Quiet this week with the sole event but should get going again next week with 3 major events.

If you're going to use a January transfer in time for next week then now is the time.

Wittmann, how do the transfers work exactly? Imagine if someone wanted to make a transfer today - it wouldn't take effect until next week, which is February. Would that count as a transfer for January (seeing as the request was made in January), or would it count as the transfer for February?

Not applicable to me, I know, as I made my transfer yesterday, but just wondering for future reference (and because I know from personal experience of running this kind of competition that it's far far better to sort these things out before they actually happen rather than be forced to work it out once the situation has actually occurred, and be open to accusations one way or another depending on what you actually decide).

By the way, why aren't you involved in the competition? Just because you're running it doesn't mean you shouldn't be allowed to compete too. As long as everything is clear and above board, with your team, transfers, etc. posted in the forum, can't see why not?

It would count as a January Transfer as they go by calendar month when they were made.
