Apologies Engineer. She is indeed from Belarus. I didn't realise you were from Bulgaria. We (Ireland) drew ye in the World Cup draw.
Sesil is a bit of a character by all accounts. I'm sure she has some feud going with Sharapova from when she was in teh Bolliteri academy. Basis of which was that Sharapova was shit and she was a better player . Got to love a bit of self confidence. |

Just read on an Oz tennis forum that Li was hobbling immediately after her match with Schynder and attended a press conference with her leg on ice and heavily strapped. She was barely running at the end of the match apparently. Sounds like her injury and rustiness might be catching up with her,
Have decided to hedge out my original bet and bump up stakes on Azarenka. Something I almost never do but my original thinking looks amiss now . 2.75 Units Lay Li @ 1.90 |

Re: Tennis 30th Dec - 7th Jan (ATP Chennai, Doha and Adelaide ; WTA Auckland & Gold C
One from
Llodra-Sirianni Some week for veteran Aussie Sirianni who at the ripe old age of 32 makes his first ever ATP SF by casusing 3 set upsets against Mathieu, Querry and Stepanek in the preceding rounds. He is apparently a massive server and has fired down over 15 aces in his three (3 set) games to date. He saved two match points against Mathieu who did his usual choke under pressure. Llodra is serving well at the moment as well (15 aces last game) and hasn’t given up a single break in his 3 games to date. He has also won all three tie breaks he has played in and has spent nearly 2 and a half hours less on court than the Aussie whose legs will be beginning to feel the pressure surely. Llodra made the final here on his second last appearance and went out to the eventual winner last year. He should in theory have far too much for Siranni and given that Querry was going of at around 1.40 against SIranni the 1.66 looks huge. With Hewitt gone the hometown crowd should be behind Siranni but I think the French leftie just about value. 1.50 Units Llodra @ 1.66 Probably the last bet of the week for me so fingers crossed. |

Do’h should have stuck with Li
Llodra wins easily but Azarenka loses after winning the first set. Small ATP profit for the week but a loss on the WTA (again). Nieminen beating Tsonga makes a nice little ante post 20/1 e/w profit guaranteed so will finish marginally ahead for the week even if he loses. Laying to back at a later stage the way to go there if you are watching the games and can trade. Wawrinka is incidentally one of Murray's main tour practice partner so he knows the Scots game well. The last time they met Murray traded around 1.65 . |
