Just realised wasn't too clear in my bets there last night but the second one was a correct score on Morigami which came in. Amamurdova won the first but got edged out 4 & 4 in the second. Chekevatdze as I thought struggled against Mirza. Sazay won in Palermo but again no bet on her

Palermo starting soon looks impossible to call - with the easrly start there is almost no liquidity up anyway. Their meeting in 2005 was very close 2 setter. I'd be inclined to back Sazay here at 1.90 if I was getting involved.Her tiebreak record is very good and in a close game like this might make all the difference.

In Cincinatti I cannot see anyway that the flaky Morigami will beat Chekevatdze. The Russian girl hasn't been in as dominant form as I thought but the Japanese girl is a lightweight. You should be sticking Chekevatade in all your accumulators today at around 1.30

I was surprised to see when I looked that Morigami holds a 3-0 h to h over Chekavatdze (1 on clay, grass and hardcourt although one was a win by retirement). It shakes my confidence in Chekavatdze slightly but I am reassuered somewhat by the Russians records in finals - she has won all 4 WTA finals she has competed in including wins this year against Jankovic. Morigami won her first WTA event final this year in a poor field in Prague (on clay) but she was walloped in her only other appeance (here in 2005) and while as I mentioned before the Russian not as dominant as I would have expected I still think she is a far better player than Morigami who bar the win against an out of form Schynder has been only so so.
