"Talk Sports" Forum

I belive that this forum is totally fcuked up. Its hidden away from the sports forums for one and also ...well that might just be all thats wrong with it. Maybe a football cvhat forum in the football forum section would be busier for it. Actually maybe hust the whole forum just moved to the frontpage and down ...bah i dont know. the live forum is an illconcieved idea of mine too.

This is my favourite forum of TDP Komp and i think its best kept as it is, just a bit more in the public eye.

Some of the discussion etc that goes on in that forum is some of the best TDP has to offer IMO.

i totally agree Kiko and thats why i would prefer it more out in the open. Where do we put it though Kiko?. Above the archive?

my problem is i dont really use the forum as its down away from the football betting. usually when im 'into sport' im up at the football betting threads. If someone was talking about 'hating chelsea' i would get involved. When im in Gen Chat area sport and betting is usually the last thing on my mind

how about 'above archive in sports betting' AND at the top of the news forums in NEWS tab? Also of course we could look at sidebar navigation for it too.

how about you and funkt decide where is best for Talk sports forum Kiko and i will just try and make the sidebar deal with 'grouping' things together. Make the sidebar in Sports maybe we could. i'll have a tinker

I say we put GC and Talksports in the community forum on the fp, they are two of our main forums alongiside the footy betting, best two put them side by side imo.

Defo leave Gen Chat where it is Slick as it a) aint sports betting b) Gen Chat and for Gen Chat c) not even open to guests. I would just go for moving Talk Sports to front forum and maybe even duplicxate it to the top of NEWS tab. Gen chat had to be the spearhead in GEn Chat tab and it really shouldnt be anywhere barr where it is imo

well obviously we would have had to change the tab to 'other forums' or the like.

I'm easy either way as GC is members only anyhow but i like the idea of copying talksports to the fp.

Im all for moving Talksports too. Just need to hear what folks think. I can see no objection slick as it's just getting a 'better' airing and its got the folks who care to look at sport looking at it. Can we have it at the Top of NEWS tab too Slick? In a nice section on it's own like Poker Gen Chat and General Chat will be in their tab. I think folks could easyly get used to using the NEWS tab for acessing the talksports forum in time. Just sitting nice on top of all the latest posts news below it for folks to talk about.

seems theres no copy option or not one i can see anyhow, I'll go and have aquick look at the vb forums.

nowt there either so i just created a new one and put a link in, only thing now is there is no latest posts in that coulumn so i swapped them around.

I asked about it before instal slick and bobster told me i could do anything with them. What he said suggested to me we could just copy them anywhere. I dont know how they work slick but im supposing the code could be made to appear wherever we wanted. youll know best.

Suppose it could be probs...nah surely theyre just using hte same database slick and all we're seeing is the same pull from that database (in lay-man terms)
