Right im gonna add some plugins. Remember you can activate whatever ones you want to use via PLUGINS menu and then activate whatever you like. I'll add a couple of lines for usage too. This list will be in a totally random order. Im trying to sort a few admin things and will just add these as i see them.
Activate in PLUGINS and then view in DASHBOARD. click no on the pop up. Looks like plenty of things to view. i havent looked but any questions just ask.
EDIT: 2 Widgets available in widgets (PRESENTATION>>>WIDGETS)
Activate through PLUGINS. Once you click it look top right at the menu and youll see a new LINK EXCHANGE tab. There's loads of options in the black menu bar so i'll have to come back to this or you can tell me about it.
EDIT: the important bit to start with would be to click SETTINGS in the Link Exchange menu. Put your site address in where they have google.
Maybe worth looking at in the months to come if you allow users to join your blog. I wont go on about it the now but i'll leave it in. Have a look in MANAGE possibly after activating it.
ROLE MANAGER
As above it would be handy in future for you maybe. Activate it and then go USERS You will be able to make any users Subscribers, Contributers, Auther, Editor or Administrator
1. Activate the "Buy Me Beer" plugin.
2. Go to "Buy Me Beer" links on "Options" submenu.
3. Input your email that you use for your paypal.
4. Change other preferences.
The amount if set, is in $ (ie $2.50 = 2.50) It will give you a widget in your Widget menu. I went for the auto add a wee icon to every post
k ive put a load more in. proabbly best to take them as they come. Any probs just ask. The plugin im interested in is myMooMus After activating it it will appear below your text box when writting a post. it will give you 3 fields to add data (your bets? man uttd 6/4 etc) Im sure we can extend that to more than 3 and also im sure that this will be the way that we go with the betting record caculator.
Looks like the google site-map is a must. How have we been for sitemaps before Slick? Must be essential in this day and age. Actually i think we got one not long back didnt we?
Activate it in PLUGINS as usual. Now go PRESENTATION>>>WIDGETS and you'll see it in your box at the bottom. Drag and drop it where you want it. Double click the wee box top right of it. If your using IE7 you might have to give it a right good licking. Now you'll be disappointed when you see all the code
