Still haven't agreed the prize fund distribution for the league winners.. Any thoughts?

My thoughts would be to spread the money as widely as possible, as well as reward people who play a certain number of games, as that's what we desperately need at the mo - do we know how much the prize fund is yet?

If it was $500 then to be honest I'd like to see everyone that's turned up consistently, say atleast 6 out of 12, given some sort of return no matter their position in the table, even if it's just $10 or so - wouldnt make too much of a dent in the prize fund, and I'm sure PP would be happy as it gets more people's accounts even more active.

So my idea in a nutshell would be:

a) A certain %age split over the top x players, sliding scale as per any normal prize money structure, altho a good spread here would be good too.
b) And then a $10 or whatever bonus for players playing a certain number of games(could add in a clause that if you win a prize from a) then you don't get b)

Let's say:

$15 bonus for anyone participating in 6 games or more.
Of the prize fund left after the above has been deducted:

1st 40%
2nd 25%
3rd 15%
4th 10%
5th 5%
6th 5%

Summat like that?

Interesting points there Beanie. I think a bonus payment for people playing in a minimum number of games is a good idea and could well be a factor in attracting more players to the latter half of this league..
