RC's Spanish bets

As mentioned in the Spanish forum, I'm giving up gambling with real money for the rest of this season, just going to sit back and watch what happens with my longer term bets for now. However, as I've been concentrating mainly on the Spanish leagues in the last couple of months, I've decided to keep a track of my selections "on paper", see how I do between now and the end of the season, starting with a 100pt bank. All reasoning is in the Spanish thread in the WW forum.

Did something similar myself to this before and it gave me the same buzz without hvaing money on it as when i did due to knowin my picks are up for everyone to see.

Good luck RC, always stressful when money's involved. Sometimes even though I made a very good preview I still worry cos money's involved. Then I decided to screw the "What If" thingy, I know I can make a profit from JLeague, and so here I am .
For me the most important thing is your own confidence in your ability. When I place my bets I expect all of them to win, I dont bet on a team when I am not confident even though I believe they can win. When I lose I look back and think if I had misjudged a team/tipster, or was it an unlucky one(penalties, red cards, etc).

Cheers lads. Bit disappointed with the two that lost, wasn't very impressed with Valencia, which also worries me as I also backed them a couple of weeks ago to win the league (without Barcelona). For Real Madrid B I guess with hindsight I should've listened to my own doubts that I mentioned in the Spanish thread, but I thought they'd be capable of getting at least a point. Ended up losing 1-0 despite playing against 10 men for all of the 2nd half.

Still, hope for better next weekend.

Small profit this weekend (+1.99 pts), but still slightly down overall. Disappointingly, my two most confident picks (Valencia and Zaragoza, 5pts on each) have both lost, although Zaragoza today was influenced by the fact they went down to 10 men in the second half.
