8% R.0.I.
…that’s the minimum I hope to achieve from my bets this football season 2011/12.
I’ll log all my bets and thoughts in here and will copy and paste to the divisional threads too. I don’t expect too much of a profit for the first half of the season but should easily reach my target during the second part. My guidelines…. *Target - 8% minimum R.O.I. by end of May 2012 *Bets will only be placed with 9 different bookies, Betfred, Blue Sq, Corals (shop), Ladbrokes (shop), Paddy Power, Skybet, Stan James, V.C Bet and Hills. I’ll also be using the Betfair and Betdaq exchanges. So I may not always be getting the best price. *Stakes will vary depending on confidence, my maximum staking for any one week will not exceed £50. This is also my maximum bet. *Results will be updated by the end of every week, I will also update overall progress monthly. Bets to follow later… |

Re: 8% R.0.I.
Right, my opening bet of the season, nothing big and not much i can say about it other than i expect Swindon to go well this season..and Crewe not so well. Even money for the home with Hills looks to be a bit of value considering some firms are as short as 1.73
Week 1 Swindon v Crewe @ Evs, £4 win Hills |

Re: 8% R.0.I.
Week 1
Derby to beat the blues is a small bet for me, I've just taken 2/1 about the home win. It's fair to say i might of been better off waiting for closer the time for team news/new signings etc but i'm getting itchy fingers and the season cant come soon enough. Derby v Birmingham @ 2/1 Hills, £2 win One more that i've taken early is for week 2 Blackburn v Wolves @ 3/1 Corals, £2 win I think Wolves are overpriced here, maybe a handicap bet would be safer but 3/1 for the away amounts to a bet for me. I dont rate the set up at Ewood park anymore, the owners, manager or players, they've sold a solid defender to Utd too. Where as i do like the players that have been coming to Wolves, O'Hara and Hammill will of settled in now and they do seem to have some goalscorers in the team, Fletcher, Hunt, Jarvis and Doyle to name a few. The signing of Johnson from B'ham is a good addition and looks certain to strengthen their defence. Only a couple of firms going 3/1 so i've gone in early. |
