Thread for all my bets and my reasoning behind the bets. Things can get lost or missed if I post in the individual threads for each league so I will post everything here and anyone who is interested in having a look can find things easily.

Monday 2nd May

St Mirren vs Hamilton: Over 3.5 cards @ 1.61 (2pts bet365)

The last 7 games between these 2 sides have produced 47 cards which is an avge of 6.71 cards p/g. The last 4 games at St Mirren park have produced 29 cards which is an avge of 7.25 cards p/g.

These 2 sides have already played twice this season at St Mirren park and the games ended with 6 & 8 cards. They have also played a game at New Douglas Park and the game ended with 4 cards.

St Mirren vs Hamilton: Over 2.5 goals @ 2.34 (2pts betfair)

As I said above these 2 have already played twice this season at St Mirren park and the 2 games ended 2-2 and 3-1. Both defences are pretty poor and both find it tough to kep clean sheets. St Mirren have only kept 1 clean sheet in 17 home games and Hamilton have only kept 2 clean sheets in their 17 away games. I'm hoping and expect more of the same today.


Malmo vs IFK Goteborg: 2-3 goals @ 1.95 (2pts bet365)

Early in the season so tough to really judge any form. Last season 9 of Malmo's 15 home games ended 2-3 goals and 9 of IFK's 15 away games ended 2-3 goals.

The H2H between these 2 sides strongly favour 2-3 goals with 11 of he last 13 games ending 2-3 goals


Lazio vs Juventus: 2-3 goals @ 1.95 (2pts bet365)


Last 7 games between these 2 sides have all ended 2-3 goals with 4 of the last 5 at the stadio olympico have ended 2-3 goals. Lazio will be looking for 3pts here to cement 4th place which is he final CL place. JUventus find themselves 6ps off europe but with a game in hand. I'm not to sure just how much they want to get that 7th spot and go into europa league playoffs. Should be a couple of goals


I'm not sure if I am having any bets in todays 2 championship matches between Cardiff/M'boro & Pompy/Norwich yet.

I think at the prices for Norwich and Southampton I would much rather be a layer than a backer. Southampton have an awful record against plymouth and with this being plymouhs final home game of the season they will want to go out on a high in front of their fans who have went through so much this season. Portsmouth only lost 5 of their 22 home games this season and again will want to go out on a high in their last home game. They have did OK at home this season against the top 8 in the championship with just 1 defeat in 7 games which was 2-0 loss to cardiff, They beat forest 2-1 and they have drew with champions QPR, leeds, millwall, reading & swansea. Pompy also beat norwich 2-0 at carrow rd before xmas and odds on for norwich looks like robbery.

Still 0-0 HT at st mirren park so I have backed over 1.5 goals @ 2.92 on betfair for 1.5pts.

Hoping for 3+ goals but I will setle for 2. Worst case scenario is it stays 0-0 or 1-0 and a 3.5pt loss.

little bit of encouragement in the fact both previous games this season have had 3 2nd half goals so hopefully more of the same this afternoon.

Cardiff vs M'boro: Over 1.5 1st half goals @ 2.50 (2pts williamhill)

Like to have a little interest in games I am watching. 3 of cardiffs last 4 home gams have had 2 or more 1st half goals and 4 of m'boros last 5 away games have had 2 or more 1st half goals.

I really like overs here but too short so maybe i will get involved in-play
