Placepot system`s test

I used to bet solely on placepots - I worked on the stuff for many years, and found 1 good way/system of making it pay occasionaly, and strangely enough I did make money from them. Then Betfair came along and I never did them again. So its time to get back into it with some testing before I take the plunge.

I dont have much money for betting nowadays so theyre perfect for the small investement, with no real expectation of winning, and the possibility of a big payout if your correct.

For those of you that dont know, a placepot is a bet where you need to choose a horse to be placed in each of the 1st 6 races at any UK meeting. You can do more than one horse per race, but then its permed and the stake outlay goes up, or the stake per line goes down. Everyones stakes go into the pot, the tote then take a percentage, and divide the rest between the winners.

As I said, ive got 1 system from years ago, and a newer one thats an adapted strain of the 1st one, so i`ll run both on this thread. I wont give details away of the actual systems yet, as they may become epic fails. I`ll just post selections and stakes, and i`ll do 1 meeting a day, possibly 2 when there`s evening racing.

Chepstow placepot paid £87 and I had it to £0.80, so a return of £72, so a profit of around £16 on the bet, so not worth a wank really
