Hey guys!

New here but have been reading the forum for a while.

Going to start off with a bank of €50 & will be generally using small stakes. Will be betting mostly on football and American Football (when it comes to the time of year for it) but will also have odd bets on horses & GAA.

Here goes my first one:

Debrecen 2/5
BATE Borisov 4/5
Rosenborg to win to nil 4/9

€5 Treble, Returns €18.20

Debrecen are at home tonight after a 1-1 draw away from home. Expecting them to win and a goal before the hour would be nice to avoid them playing for the 0-0.

Borisov have a big lead from the first leg and normally I would avoid this type of bet but I think 4/5 (had previously been evens) is good value. Their coach has come out and said they need a win and I've read that they will have few changes from the first leg.

Rosenborg were given a tough game against Linfield in Northern Ireland last week and the Irish side will be out to play a very defensive game once again tonight. This so it could make things hard for Rosenborg if the do not get an early goal, which is why I'm not tempted by the handicap in this one. Instead I've gone for Rosenborg to win to nil, expecting a hard fought 1 or 2 nil win.

Evens looks massive to me for the record derby winner. Pretty confident he'll do the business hence the stake.

What's your logic on the staking? €5 to €30 is a rather huge jump is it not?

It does look quite erratic it being only the second bet I've posted on here but as stated it indicates my confidence in this bet. Workforce won the derby in record time his last time out. Some may say it was a poor derby but the clock doesn't lie. Being a 3yr old he'll also be claiming weight against the older horses in the field which is another positive. I just think evens was (10/11 now and will only get shorter imo) massive value, hence the lump. It's my biggest bet on a horse in quite a while and certainly not an amount I'd be placing every second bet.
