Won't bore you with the minor details but Detroit have been awful and this represents a big start in Cleveland's house. I fancied Cleveland outright at 3.4 but they might tighten up with the series in sight and this one should go down to the wire.

Might be my last post if Detroit cane them...

I see you are doing a bank with points, if you are trying a rags to riches type thing there is a forum for that and we can stick this thread in there.
Or perhaps if you just want to keep a record of your bets tipster proofing might be the forum. Are you gonna be betting purely on basketball or a whole collection ?

Welcome. I am on Cavs with 5.5 at BF too! Also in main thread on NBA Playoffs. Still think Det will win the whole thing, but who knows. Looked like Det v SAS in Final, but now Dallas could do the spurs tonight, and unless Detroit pull their finger out, all over for them too!

Any thoughts on that game?

I just can't find the edge in that one.

Detroit grinded out the win in the first and the Cavs just looked lost out on the court not sure if they knew how to win.

Probably the end for them now.

Thank you all for your kind comments.

I will be dabbling in different sports and I don't mind putting the threads anywhere. More so the American stuff as I have been stuck on a British overseas territory for 10 years but force-fed American sports (though I am not complaining!)

Maybe I'll just keep a record of the bank in this thread?

I will concentrate on value first then strike rate.

I've always wanted to use one of these fellas so one bet, and profit...

Looking at Cleveland I think they have just about given what they had to give in this series and there chance was definately game 6. The Pistons simply can't keep playing as bad and it is time for some serious D.

Pistons should have this one wrapped up by the end of the third with a double figure lead.

Yeah was toying with this myself. The real detroit are gonna show up sooner or later. Plus I can see the public thinking ooooh cavs with 8.5 now, great.
The handicap was 11-12 earlier on in the series and I reckon there might be a couple of points value here cos of the somewhat strange results between the teams.

My sentiments exactly. When I looked yesterday people were still backing the Cavs on the handicap at 1.83. I put my sell in but missed the boat.

Odds against for the Pistons looks like an edge to me and I think their experience over the past two years should be enough for them to take each quarter by a couple of baskets.

10 pts by q3 and play out the last quarter with another 3pt gain. I'm with you - 12-13 pts (69-81)

Ilgauskas has been the real star for the Cavs - I just can't see him having another stormer tonight. I'll give Lebron 30 - I don't see 50 from anywhere else...?
