This morning I can't help but dwell on the ifs and buts of the season.
We were on the receiving end of some 'questionable' refereeing yesterday, and not for the first time this season.
I also wonder if we hadn't had so many injuries in the winter whether we'd have picked up just a few more points (probably at home, let's face it) which would have made a crucial difference.
I know we don't have the class yet to set the Premiership alight, but I do feel we played enough good football this season to have deserved to stay up.
And we came so close...
ALISTAIR WILLIAMS - CRYSTAL PALACE FAN
A second disappointment hit me this morning as I realised that last night's prayers that something unspeakable happen to all Charlton players and supporters had gone spectacularly unanswered.
I congratulate them for a massive effort during the game, energy no doubt saved from their recent games against West Brom and Norwich.
I hope Charlton now consider the blood feud over after we let them use our ground in their time of need - an action that is obviously considered despicable!
Bitterness obviously has control of me so let me thank the Lord for small mercies - I don't know any West Brom fans and at least I don't support Norwich.
I guess if we can't hold onto a lead for 10 minutes with it all on the line we aren't quite good enough for the top division.
Brave effort though and thanks to all the players.

TOM JAMES - SOUTHAMPTON FAN
Yesterday was undoubtedly the lowest point of my football-watching life. The frustrating thing is that after Norwich's capitulation, it was in our own hands.
I can't really fault the players, they gave it everything, but over the course of the season, we were very poor and deserved to go down.
I hold one man singularly responsible, Rupert Lowe.
His gross mismanagement of this brilliant football club has bought an era to an end. He should have tried harder to keep Strachan and then Sturrock and had the courage to re-appoint Glenn Hoddle.
The fans have suffered all season and it's all down to him. If only his passion for football matched that of Wolfgang Stam, my good friend from Dusseldorf who travelled 400-odd miles to witness Saints' relegation.
Anyway, rant over and time to look to the future. We will bounce back. I am bitterly upset of course, but part of me is already looking forward to next season - we might actually win a couple of games!
All that's left to say is congratulations to West Brom on a remarkable escape.
JULIE SMITH - WEST BROMWICH ALBION FAN
Wow - what an unbelievable day.
I woke up with a knot in my stomach and it got progressively worse until 4.55pm when it was all over.
As I didn't have a ticket for the game, the best I could do was listen to the radio which was
absolute torture as they kept switching between the four games.
And at 0-0 at half-time for us, I really thought we weren't going to make it, but when Horsfield scored I began to believe again.
The last 20 minutes was unbelievable - Palace go in front, we're down, we score a second to make sure we're going to win and then Charlton level, we're staying up - but then we just had to hope Charlton would hold on. Thankfully they did and the champagne could flow.
WBA stay up!
