Fight of the year...

Or Decade. Or Century.

I enjoy watching a bit of boxing and have read in a few places that Coralles v Castillo fight from Las Vegas last weekend, on Sky Sports at 10pm tonight, really is one of the best fights there has been in many a year.

Re: Fight of the year...

Sorry Komp, I don't follow boxing closely enough to know much about either apart from the fact that it was a Lightweight world title fight and is meant to be top notch.

I am sure it will be on Torrent somewhere already. I know Jamdog posted a Boxing Torrents link over at PP a while ago but I can't get to the post from work at the moment.

Here are my favourites.

Hagler Vs Hearns

Duran Vs Sugar Ray Leonard (Fight 2)

Hagler Vs Sugar Ray Leonard

Benn Vs Watson

Eubank Vs Benn (Both Fights)

Benn Vs McClellan

Bruno Vs Tyson (First fight - just because of Brunos big punch - makes me tingle every time I hear the commentary - "and Bruno's hurt Tyson. He's hurt Tyson. Get in there Frank!!!")

Re: Fight of the year...

Fantastic fight.

Castillo puts him down twice in round 10. 30 seconds later Coralles has battered him along the ropes and with Castillo out on his feet ref stops the fight.

From beginning to end a superb fight. As the commentator said early on, they could have had the fight in a telephone box!

Re: Fight of the year...

Heard an ebay tale yesterday about a guy who bought an ultra modern satellite navigation system, which could be used in a car, bike, boat, walking, you name it. Bargain price of just over £200.

When it arrived it was a map and a compass, no kidding. Would have to say the goods description was pretty accurate.

I've got a mate who buys and sells coins and banknotes and he's never had any problem, though the sellers he deals with all have a ratings profile re the experiences of other buyers re condition of items, speed of delivery etc.

Buying without some sort of reference like this is asking for trouble.

Forgot to add I've also heard that of problems with Paypal which is the most used method of payment. Seems if there are any problems they are no use and don't want to know.

Re: Fight of the year...

para - thats right - they claim to insure every purchase, but its up to a maximum of £100.

I bought a £400 gym off there, they refunded me £100 when the guy did one with the cash. I threatened to get my credit card company to 'charge back' the transaction and get my money back of Paypal if they wouldnt refund me. They sent me a letter threatening to take ME to court for trying to get my money back off them.

Its meant to be the 'safe' way to do transactions - b*stards...

I'd have to put McGuigan v Pedrosa at Loftus Road when I was a nipper. Maybe I'm wearing green tinted specs but it was best 15 rounds I've seen.
