Sam Lyon on Twitter has reported that Manu and Inter have agreed a fee of £33m for Sneijder. It's just down to negotiating personal terms now.

So who makes way?

After Cleverley's performances of late, I'd be dropping Anderson and Carrick, both have form for being a little dosey and lacking in imagination. Carrick's exit is a personal mission of mine, but Anderson, whilst scoring a few goals at the tail end of last season, hasn't shown the brilliance expected of him. Cleverley is clearly hungry for his opportunity and slotted into midfield with ease on Sunday.

I know Carrick sometimes goes unnoticed in games, even though he can be effective at breaking up play. But for every good part of Carrick's performance, he'll drop a clanger somewhere or just pathetically stand off attacking players cutting through to the midfield. He's a liability whenever he's on the pitch in my opinion.

That would be it, all united are missing is a playmaker and now they could end up with one of the best in the world to replace scholes, the missing piece of the jigsaw.

Anderson will be the one to kop for it i reckon, but with so many games in Uniteds season he'll still get a fair share of games.
