Didn't an athlete start playing rugby league a few yrs back? from what i recall he didn't last two minutes and that was out on the wing; out of the way so he wouldn't get damaged.

I think qouted were Prem, Championship, Lge 1, Lge 2, Serie A and MLS. I cant remember the odds but he was favourite for Lge 2.

Nigel Walker was an olympic 110m hurdler in the late 80s/early 90s switched to rugby union after he failed to make the olympic squad in later years , I think he played for Cardiff but he played quite a few internationals on the wing for Wales , he was very speedy but poor defensively. I saw him score a few tries for Wales at the Cardiff Arms Park.

Absolutely no offence intended to the rugby players Traeth but any idiot can catch a ball and run like fuck. Playing top level football is a different matter altogether.

I was good at school but my school is not renowned for producing international footballers by the score. I'm sure his isn't either.
