Spurs beat Madrid - Maybe in some parallel universe that I'm not yet aware of but not in the one that I happen to inhabit. spurs? Fucking Spurs? An obvious case of ex club loyalty clouding the vision. or possibly ingratiating oneself with the fans in preparation for when Harry takes the England job so that you can get the old feet back under the table.

In short, not happening.

I did laugh when I heard him predicting Spurs. Real Madrid are an exceptional team, being downplayed because they are slightly inferior to the brilliant Barcelona. Real would be winning any other european league IMO.

I also think Inter Milan are being written off too easily also, they are starting to get into a very good run at the moment with it starting to click together albeit they are still quite dodgy at the back.

Torres to score the winner - I like it Kop. That's exactly the sort of stuff that happens in this crazy game. He has three good games im two years, big money move that everyone thinks is massively overpriced and then he pops up and lands the Champions League trophy.

I'm probably a senile as Venables but I've thought it since the day he signed for them.
And the fact that he hasn't started scoring for them is making me think it's more likely that we are going to see the best of him in the last four of the CL. He could pay his transfer fee off with just 1 winning goal in the final. You couldn't rule it out could you.

If i had a free bet for the outright winner i'd stick it on Chelsea. I think they are the only English club that might 'on their day' be capable of beating any other team in it. I just think this years final could be about Abramovich, Chelsea and probably Torres.
