To me it looked like Lennon was on for starting before hand, maybe something was said during the melee when Diouf started on Lennon earlier up, as Lennon seemed to slip back sheepishly.
Then during the second half it was boiling up within him, whatever it was it ended up with him whispering to Mcoist all gee'd up ready to have a go. It was a false smile, one of those that can catch you off guard, I've had it done to me once my some nutter in the local pool hall with tattoos on his forehead, came over smiling asking why i was laughing at his wife playing pool, I didn't have a fcuking clue what he was on about as and while i was scratching my head wondering wtf, the cnut head butted me off my stool. then came the kicks and punches, by the time i came to my senses and managed to get up and start giving it him back , I was dragged off ,thrown out and barred

The SPL needs that big rivalry between the Old Firm again ODM - It hasn't been there for a good few years to be honest and only with Lennon being installed have we seen it come back. I was down at the 3-0 game 3 weeks ago and the atmosphere was absolutely electric, never seen anything like that before. As for the game - outwith the Lennon incident I thought Rangers approach was one of causing some damage to Celtic players, their tackling ALL night was an absolute disgrace I felt.

it was the tactics of a team who know they are shit and can't win the game unless they rough the other side up Keeks. Tactics that we are likely to see Liverpool employ on Sunday against United. I'd be surprised if a Liverpool player didn't walk and the fat balloon Lucas would be my favourite.

normally I'd agree with you Seen. we both know that religion is man's worst ever invention but I'd have to say that a lot of the passion away from the touchline seemed to be about actually wanting to win the game.

I'd have loved to have seen Nani plaing in that game. One tackle and he'd have rolled all the way back to Manchester.

I was impressed with the way Commons handled himself. Celtic fans should make the most of these early days. Come winter, they'll be wondering why the fuck they ever bought him.

Give me a old firm game over an english premiership game anytime.Arsenal only redeeming team at the moment,only english team that could have beat barcelona,with a league that gets £1.78 billion every 3 years from sky that is poor.Spl gets £65 million and without rangers and celtic it would be nothing.

Thats pretty harsh tbh. For the first time in years Arsenal are up to the plate, whereas Manure & Chelsea look vulnerable. The reason that the SPL gets so little in comparison is the fact that if they were in England they'd be Birmingham or Stoke, & Motherwell or whoever are very much like Coventry
