thats the point most people miss, birmingham average attendance this year so far is 24900 in a stadium that holds 30000,stokes is better,i get stokes idea,26700 in a 28000 capacity.at the moment celtic and rangers average over 45000 each with some pretty shit games thrown in.If they were in the epl they would at least bring a reasonable crowd,wigan is a rugby town with a half empty stadium.

Scottish game is as poor as it ever has been in decades , and i worry for anyone who would prefer to watch an OF game over an EPL match !!

apart from the present top 6 in the epl it would scare the shit out the rest of them them if celtic/rangers were even given a chance,the football in the spl might be average but look at motd most saturdays,it isn't much better and thats with highly inflated funding without which they wouldn't survive.the point is celtic & rangers don't want to play each other every other week but the stadiums are full,worldwide audience is there there only thing lacking is clubs week in week out to match them.

Please don't delude yourself that all over the world punters clamour to watch an OF game , maybe in Oz or Canada where a high proportion of immigrants settled there's an interest but when it comes to a true worldwide audience your 2nd rate and outside the Scots/Irish contingent all but ignored .
Why don't all those from outside Glasgow support their local teams!! then there would be increased competition instead of boarding bus's , travelling to Ibrox and Parkhead and giving their hard-earned to keep the OF in power ??? ooops sorrry forgot about supporting the 'cause' silly me .

Birmingham/Villa is as intense as the old firm, just without the religious aspect, & so is about another 6 English derbies. The difference is that they dont travel from everywherejust to support those 2 teams. Yes, all proper fans hate the 'johnny come lately' dickheads that have no connection but support Manure, Arsenal etc.....'why would I support Villa, they dont win anything'
