One of the reasons Bent said he chose to leave Sunderland to sign for Villa was the fantastic service he could expect from the likes of Downing and Young.

In his first two games for Villa, in 3 hours of football, he has managed a grand total of 3 shots....and one of those came from a goalie parry rather than a team-mates pass.

On Saturday he managed to score a tap-in with his only attempt on goal. Tonight, against the worst team in the Premier League (Wigan), he managed a shot in the 6th min and again in the 11th min, and that was it. Looks like he's getting quality service for sure.
