Re: Rafa sacked (again)
According to Sky news he's enrolled his kids back into Liverpool schools. I know his family loved there.
I'd definately rule him out of managing us again but i wouldn't rule him out of managing in the prem again. Why not Blackburn? |

Re: Rafa sacked (again)
Infact, why not Man City? I've just had a cheeky 20 @ 16/1 Skybet.
He'll be there, probably with Torres in January. It could happen, with Mancini fucking off back to settle the ship Inter. |

Re: Rafa sacked (again)
He'll get another job but I've no idea where, I doubt very much he'll get the City job Punter as Mancini is here for the long term and dedicated to the Job, if anything Mancicni has a point to prove to Inter and he won't be returning any time soon, he has an open cheque book so why return to a club where his hands would be tied and there best players allready sold on.
I know Benitez loves England especially the North West but i don't see how he'd fit into any local sides, there's only the Blackburn job available and unless they have money to burn I can't see him going there, new owners must have money to Invest though as thats the only reason they got rid of Fat Sam and if so then you can never say never as Benitez would need at least £50 mill straight off to get the ball rolling. personally I can see him going back to Spain but to which club I haven't a clue. |

Re: Rafa sacked (again)
There are rumours over here that Mourinho might be interested in going back to Inter, with Benitez coming in to take over at Madrid.

Take the fact the crazy way managers are getting sacked, the fact that your owner has ploughed in £350M+? has been to see you play once (a boring 0-0), add the fact that if Utd were to win their 2 games in hand then you are 10 pts behind them and the fact that you have only scored 9 league goals at home (3rd worst in the prem), then Mancini's position looks alot weaker. And that's without mentioning the Tevez captaincy situation. Skybet are the only ones with odds up right now but they have him 3rd fav' for next manager to leave. It's probably a daft bet that i've placed there and i've probably lost my twenty but if the City powers that be recognise what Benitez has done in Europe then he might become appealing. I'm not certain but off the top of my head i think Rafa had 2 CL finals and a semi final in his first four seasons at Anfield and although he made mistakes towards the end of his time with us alot of that can be contributed to the pricks he was working for. You lose one more game over Xmas into late January then i reckon your man's a gonner |

Re: Rafa sacked (again)
The players aren't the problem though, his problem is with the board, he laid into them at the press conference after the Sevilla game at the weekend, apparently him and Jorge Valdano don't get on too well.

Re: Rafa sacked (again)
It doesn't matter how many points it is Kop, the aim this year is to qualify for the Champs league. Mancini won't be going anywhere soon unless it becomes mathematically impossible b4 the new year which won't happen, if everything goes tits up and we don't qualify then YES I can see him going in the summer but nothing b4 then, in that meantime i can see Rafa getting a job elsewhere unless he has been worded.
City would suit him down to the ground, apart from us and Liverpool (and i can't see him going back there) i don't see where else he would fit in, the only other option i see is West Ham but they don't match up just like him and Blackburn don't match up, thats why i can see him going back to Spain. |
