Anyone seen this guy play?

Liverpool were linked with him last year as were Spurs and Everton. Now Newcastle are in the mix and I would be interested to see what people think of this Dirk Kuyt chap from Feyeenord. 71 league goals in 101 games I believe. Quite an impressive record really, even for Holland. Anyone know what Ruud VNR's record was before his move to united? Would be interesting to do a comparison.

Loads of my mates are saying how he is the answer to Liverpool/Newcastle's problems but none of them have ever seen the cnut play.

Saw him a few times a couple of seasons ago, both when Feyenoord played Hearts and on a few of the channel 5 dutch games. He's an all round striker really - not exceptionally quick but very good in the air and at that stage anyway he had a cracking eye for goal - very decent penalty box predator. Haven't heard so much about him over the last 18 months or so tho.

Saw him scoring few goals this season.He could be new star of the transfer window,but that depends on his plays in WC.If I were Benitez I would sell Crouch and Cisse in order to get him.

His style is very similar to Van Hooydonk ( check spelling )

He wasnt a bad player when his head was sorted.
