Chelsea

Seriously, how the hell are they so close to Man United in the league? It would be a travesty if they won the league they way they are playing.

I have seen a good portion of their games this season and things just never change. They continue playing a formation that the players don't seem to know where they are meant to be playing.

Defensively they aren't anywhere near how solid they have been in the past. If more teams would be more adventurous against Chelsea they could get some fortune.

Their all round game just is terrible. No wonder their fans boo them off the park every game these days.

Re: Chelsea

poor performance after poor performance

grant had some cheek shoving schevchenko on after wigan had equalised.....what a twat.

schev should have been on the pitch 20 mins earlier to kill of the game. some great saves from kirkland but chelsea should have won that game 3 or 4 nil apart from grants terrible management skills. even if he had won the double of league and cl he still would be looking for a new job next season

Re: Chelsea

They fucked it up today, then again with United's goal difference you could never realistically see them winning it anyway.

Re: Chelsea

they realy are poor to watch, it would be a travesty if they won anything this year,i would rather watch derby than chelsea, they got rid of the chosen one because there football was not exciting enough, i wonder what abramovich is thinking now, there own fans seem to be turning against them now, as for europe i would much rather see liverpool against man u or barca.

Re: Chelsea

I actually think Grant has done a decent job you know.

Maybe not in terms of playing attractive football (and that was the ‘reason’ behind his appointment), but looking at their league position and progression in the Champions’ League – he has more than held his own this year.

Lets not forget that Chelsea got off to a relative stinker under Jose and looked a shadow of the team they were 2 years ago. I think He realised it was going to be another barren year and took the easy option to leave. None of his most recent signings (Alex, Pizzarro, Ben Haim, Boulahrouz or Malouda) have set the Premiership alight now have they?

He had a great impact initially and galvanised an already good team but really struggled when entering his 3rd term.

Given all the in-fighting, injuries and animosity shown towards him – I think Avram has done a good job and the Chelsea fans are far too harsh on him.

Still looks like a gravedigger though when all’s said and done.

Definately, he has done a splendid job. Seems everyone has it in for him which is a shame.

I just can't get my head around how they have done so well. Before they built from the back and were very hard to break down but thats not even the case now.

Its that stupid formation they play that is the problem now to me. Trying to accomodate players rather than having a side which can gel together etc.

Re: Chelsea

i agree kiko, i dont think you can play a side which has ballack and lampard in the same midfield or anelka and droghba with anelka playing wide,i agree afu his results have not been bad but they have been the worst team in the epl to watch, and joe cole would never be out my team.

Re: Chelsea

Listening to Talk Sport at the moment and Chelsea fans are still fucking moaning about Avram Grant. Apparently the victory last night is testament to the players and some fella said they need to get some one in who "knows what he's doing" - still pining for fucking Mourinho.

They had 3 cracks at it under the self titled Special One and got no further than the semis. Avram comes into the club, which was in a right fucking state by the way and keeps them on the coat tails of the "best Manchester United squad ever" and progresses into the final in 3 weeks time. And they still arent fucking happy.

Show Grant a bit more respect eh you bunch of cunts.

Re: Chelsea

Football fans for you AFU.

I am growing to like Avram now. Nice touch his celebration and then speaking about how its a special time for him due to his religion and the past etc.

His jokes are improving too!
