The End For Horseface

It would seem so now . . .

Quote:
Ruud van Nistelrooy's Manchester United future is in doubt after he drove away from Old Trafford three hours before the final match against Charlton.

A club statement said: "We can confirm Ruud van Nistelrooy has gone home."

He was at Old Trafford on Sunday morning and is understood to have been fully fit and expecting to play.

Van Nistelrooy, 29, has spent much of the final third of the season on the bench and this latest omission puts his United future in doubt.
I would love to know what exactly has happened as there has to be more to it than we know.

RVN scored 25 goals this season yet he still had to settle for places on the bench in the last couple of months which was a bit unfair as i don't feel he has played bad when giving the opportunity.

Whatever happens, whoever end up getting him are going to have a world class striker that will score you goals consistently.

Where do you's think he will end up?

If i was Jose i would ditch that Drogba piece of shit and get RVN in. He has done very well for United in past seasons playing the lone striker role and he would score a far better ratio of goals to games than Drogba would.

Thoughts?

Re: The End For Horseface

Fergie criticised him midweek after the Boro game. Once he starts doing that in public you know its all over. Looks like the end, no doubt. Not many people go the distance with Ferguson for one reason or another. G Neville, Giggs and Scholes are about the only ones.

Doubt Fergie will let him go to Chelsea though. Real Madrid will be in the running no doubt, they are a bit light on forwards......

Re: The End For Horseface

Ferguson cant handle anyone who becomes bigger than him. Decent players who realise their worth and possibly question him or try to assert their authority are chopped down to size. Keane, Stam, Beckham come to mind. Ferguson is the big cheese and they know it. Any that dont are shipped out.

I think this is a massive mistake. RVN would be on my team sheet before Rooney. The first name week in week out. Rooney is still young and cant be relied upon for 30 goals a season. Ruud would have topped that easy. Bear in mind he has been in and out of the squad since the Carling Cup Final.

Keeping Sahahahahaha and not old Neddy is a huge mistake. I really cant think of a word that expresses the magnitude of my feelings.

Solskjaer is fucked, that leaves 2 forwards and that Rossi kid. Ferguson should be sacked before he pisses off any more influencial players.

For the record, I would take him at Liverpool tomorrow.

Re: The End For Horseface

More bullshit specials that can't be found on their website from Bet365 courtesy of Bettingzone's Market Moves:

0900: Bet365 have shortened their price on Ruud van Nistelrooy leaving Manchester United in the summer from 4/11 to 1/7.

The move came after the striker stormed out of Old Trafford three hours before the start of the Charlton game.

Van Nistelrooy's United career has been the subject of intense debate since Sir Alex Ferguson axed him from the United starting line-up for the Carling Cup final win over Wigan at the Millennium Stadium in February.

Bet365 spokesman Steve Freeth said: "The rumours about Ruud leaving United will heighten with the Dutchman's hasty departure before kick off - it looks like Fergie has made his mind up.

"The Sunday papers were full of rumours about a possible swap deal with Fernando Torres and van Nistelrooy is 7/2 to be playing for Atletico Madrid next season."

Re: The End For Horseface

Well I dont know about anyone else but I would be tempted to trust SAF's judgement. He's delivered trophy's year in year out and has shown here that there are no sacred cows at man ure. he understands players come and go and only the fans and the club are a constant. It's no coincedence that Utd have been playing better without van horse head , Saha suits there more swift attacking style especially away from home.
To call for fergies head in exchange for Van is laughable.
If Benitez delivers the title to Pool would you question any decision of his?
Ok now times that by 10 titles.

Re: The End For Horseface

I would disagree keem.

Ferguson had an excellent young team there. He kept them together and added a few from outside and won an awful lot. Since they have left or got older - he has struggled to replace them.

Ferguson's success in the transfer window is questionable to say the least.

Plus Ferguson has shown yet again that he cant handle big ego's. Ruud dared to challenge Ferguson a while back, saying that he expected to have won more trophies than they have and that with Beckham they might have won more. This isnt about what RVN has to offer United, it is about doing what Ferguson says.

Nobody disagrees with Ferguson publically and stays.

Re: The End For Horseface

And quite rightly so AFU , he cant be seen to allow dissention , it isn't a democracy!
He signed Rooney , saha , RVN , Rio , Van De saar , Heinze , Ronaldo. that aint bad transfer business.

He did get lucky with the youth team that came through but he gave them thier chance, a lot of coaches wouldnt have. He won the champions league with goals from 2 of his signings.

Re: The End For Horseface

I know what you mean about the good 'buys' - but in Rooney you had the best young player in the world. Same with Ronaldo too, another gem that other clubs were after. Van Der Saar was a great keeper and should have been signed years before. The fact that he wasnt was a mistake IMO. Heinze, Rio and RVN were all internationals signed for whopping transfer fees.

His dealings in the transfer market have been nothing special. No rough gems come good like Wenger. Ferguson bought players that the press was talking about already. He isnt a patch on Wenger in this respect IMO.

Re: The End For Horseface

Well he has a much better record than Wenger AFU and that's all he can be judged on .
I think the Utd team of Giggs , Kanchelskis , Hughes, Cantona , Scholes , Sharpe was the most exciting team I have ever seen. I would have rather watched them in full flow than arsenal who refuse to cross the ball and head it home.
If it weren't for him not being able to field his full strength team in the Champs league because of the foreign rule I thing the rags would have a couple more Champs trophy's than they have.

Re: The End For Horseface

While it could be said that SAF got lucky with the outstanding Man Utd youth team of a few years ago, he also reaped what he sowed. Utd's youth policy and set up was a shambles when Ferguson arrived and one of the first things he did was get it set up properly. And a few years later he got his rewards for getting it working properly.
