I'd pick Frank Carson ahead of Robinson tell the truth, but Mclaren shouldent be taking chances in a game like this with an inexperienced keeper, better the devil you know.

England are desperate for a decent keeper as we've not had one since well ehhm probably Shilton which is a hell of a long time ago now.

Feel chuffed for Carson, he's from down my (and Winrew's) neck of the woods - Cleator Moor - and a nicer guy you couldn't meet!

I don't know him personally, but I played against him a few times in my youth when he was at Cleator Moor Celtic. He'd always shake your hand after the match and congratulate/commiserate you depending on the result.

You could tell back then he was a class 'keeper as well!
