Re: The Official Liverpool thread
You Villa fans should ease up on GH too, you wont go down, and given time he'll do a good job.

Re: The Official Liverpool thread
ust turned on the United Liverpool cup game. Every time I see him it fills me with fresh amazement at how the hell Lucas is playing professional football at this level.
I remember a few years ago a random member of the public managed to get into a pre match team photograph as Man United posed before a game but this is the first time I've ever seen one actually get on the pitch and play. Fucking useless cunt. |

Re: The Official Liverpool thread
I thinks its rather delusional too as Hodgson was dealt a bad hand of cards and those have just been passed onto Dalglish, you can't sell some of your best players and expect whats left to pick up the pieces, Hodgson is a good manager and not become a bad one overnight, given a full summer of pre season training and some cash to spend, History tells us he would have done a good job.
Liverpool also have a lot of dead wood left over from Benitez'z time there, I'm pretty sure Hodgson would have got rid of that too once he had time to bring in his own players, and I'm not talking of the likes of Kanchelski either who was more of an emergency signing. Can Dalglish do any better? I don't think so but hope he can stir up enough passion until the end of the season at least as Liverpool need to try and rekindle soemthing to get out of the rut they are in otherwise its not impossible they could end up in a relegation dogfight. This Summer will probably be one of the most important in Liverpools history as major decisions will have to be made and it will test the resolve of Liverpools new owners to see just how comitted they are to investing in the club. For Liverpools sake I hope they come good as I've always had a soft spot for them due to having enjoyed watching them play when they were at their best during the 70's and 80's, probably the best club side I have ever seen. Nice post too Swoops, I've bookmarked it half way down and will finish it off after the City match ![]() |

Re: The Official Liverpool thread
I think if he rediscovers his best form, as he was starting to look like he might in the last few games at Liverpool, then, & you have to bear in mind his age, hes a decent signing tbh. Liverpool couldnt turn that price down, neither could Newcastle (neither could Sunderland)

Re: The Official Liverpool thread
I think Torres will shine at Chelski, eventually. Is he eligible to play in the CL? I wouldn't be to surprised if he gets a winners medal if he is.
I've been seeing snippets of this rumour over the past two/three months, the ball seems gathering a bit of pace too...Reina linked to Utd Pepe Reina opens the door to a £20million transfer to Manchester United | The Sun |Sport|Football Best goalkeeper in the world imo and i'd still say the same if he does move. |
