I would have said that it was obvious that Gerrard wasn't 100% last night. Even the position he played, more left side of the park was based on the fact that he had trouble turning his head to the left earlier in the week due to his neck injury.
Question then is, I suppose, should he have played at all?

They aren't out of it yet but they went from needing to not concede in the second leg.....straight to having to score a goal in one horrible moment.

True ODM but I would also say that the only reason he went to head it in that position is that he had no faith in clearing it effectively with his right foot. Which for a top level professional is very poor. Was a good cross but hoofing it away on his right foot would have cleared the ball and finished it at 1-0.
They aren't out of it yet but the body language at the end was suggesting they didn't fancy their chances.

I thought Chelsea had their times, they were better side first 20 mins IMO and they also had a good 15-20 min period in the second half when they upped the tempo and played some pretty slick footy. The time when Malouda got in, Lampard got in etc. Would't agree Liverpool were far better IMO.

It's not really that difficult, Rafa, is it? The 2nd half tends to be when substitutions happen. The ref is supposed to add on 30 seconds per substitution, there were 4 last night, that's 2 minutes for you for a start, that only leaves you with 2 more minutes for injuries and general stoppages, which didn't strike me as particularly over the top.

You could have probably added about 8 mins on for Drogba alone going down! How much of that 8 mins would be justified is a different matter though
