Golf: Laying the leader

Im thinking of trying a "Lay the leader" system in golf.

At the end of Round 1, I plan to place a lay bet on the current leader. With a view to backing him at a better price at some point in the next 3 rounds.

What do people think??

This would almost guarantee a profit, especially if the 1st Round leader doesnt tee off his 2nd Round until the afternoon. This gives half of the field the chance to catch/overtake the Round 1 leader during the morning tee times.

Your problem is that the market factors in that the leader has an afternoon tea time - ie just because the morning starters make birdies and go beyond the later starters doesnt mean that they will drift in the betting, as they still have those same holes to play.

Try the system on paper for a few months first in here, would be good to see the results
