Good evening guys. I'm a newbie to the site, but have a little system i want to trial, and value your opinions...

It evolved from this evenings football, when yet again I fell one short of picking up a tasty acca. when Rotherham cost me my glory when drawing with Torquay at odds of 1.66. I umm'd and ahh'd of whether to go with Bury or Rotherham at home, whilst looking at the league table I noticed that Rotherham(4th) playing torquay(21st) and Bury(3rd) played Shrewsbury(5th) so decided to play it safe by going with the obvious(so I thought) victory.

However; whilst licking my wounds and looking at the table again wondering how on earth this cost me £350, I stumbled across a little system which involves looking at home records against away records. for example :

Rotherham's home record is won 7(1) drew 6(2) lost 2(3) Torquay away is won 1(3) draw 7(2) lose 8(1)

keep with me...

adding up the 1's 2's and 3's rotherham's chances were 15 to win(49%) 13 to draw (42%) and 3 to lose (9%), so looking at it the draw was quite likely

and bugger me that's just what happened.


whilst Bury's chances were 15 to win 6 to draw and 10 to lose, which granted isn't a massive increase but % wise 49% / 19 % / 32% a bury win looked quite likely and thats what happened.

so it got me thinking that if I could get a good % chance would I make money???

sounds simple, and i'm sure someone may have tried it, hence while i'm here, to see before I start has anyone had any experience with anything similar?

will crack on regardless and see what happens whilst keeping my money in my wallet. All selections are from the english divisions prem to league 1....but if works(never know- it might) would trial euro games as well....

Now I'm going to keep track of all selections and one's that have win % double any other outcome, such as Arsenal, Newcatle, Forest, Colchester, Gillingham and MK dons.

No money on, but for the purpose of the system will have a starting bank of 100 pts and would have put 10 points on each of the selections (same for the second 6)

Although the first set of bet results were profitable, the rationale behind your strategy is bizarre. You've based it on 2 results where the 2nd favourite out of 3 possible results won in one game and the favourite won in another.

So, on this extensive research, why are you backing all the highest percentages when your analysis shows that out of the 2 games, this only happened 50% of the time.

Having said that, Yorkie seems to think you're onto something so maybe I'm being over-sceptical.
