If the %'s are then compared to the odds offered for the result as a type of value then this would make some form of sense (although still destined not to work speaking from some experience of number crunching).

Cheers for your comments wayne, but I think you may have misunderstood my rationale. My thought for the system was only bought about by that result and I only posted these two as an examples of my thought process, also the % has to be double that of any other outcome. As to date, it has proved to be quite sucessful and is still in the tweaking process. To date its got a sucess rate of 84%(didn't post last sundays - but had Fulham, Villa, Hearts, Blackburn, Bilbao, Fiorentina, FC twente, Ajax, R madrid and Roma which all won - I know its easy to post after the games, but i'm not here to sell anything!!!) to date its 21/25 - not perfect yet, but I am introducing a 3rd filter process and a new staking process which hopefully will prove that the system will work and be MORE profitable than the 76.9% it is at the min. More to come on that...

BTW if you check the league tables, it also bought about Schalke this evening with a record of 12 6 6, which also passed my 3rd filter process and returned odds of 2.00 with PP.

To be fair Yorkie, as you were the only one to comment on the initial post, it probably wasn't out of order for Wayne to mention your name. All he said was that he had one opinion and you had another.

That's how it reads on the face of it and why Esprit was shocked by your response.

Saying that, I can obviously see how you could see sarcasm in it if you were looking. Knowing Wayne, I could believe it was intentional but it was subtle enough to let it go and not so obvious as to warrant a full scale attack in response.
