I'm testing a stats based system and I'm just going to post the reults and see how it goes. I'm using level stakes of 1 pt per selection. Here are the results for Saturday and Monday:

No offence mate but is there going to be a point to this thread at some stage?

Are you planning on posting your selections before the off if it proves to be a profit maker, for example?

Just wondering what the long term plan is.

I don't think it's too much to ask is it? I wouldn't want to be encouraging people to just post up results of their bets for yesterday, that's just asking for a spamming invasion.

Onedunme, I'm just using the forum as a way recording the results of testing (papertrading) the system before putting any money on. I'm certainly not just trying to impress people with my bets as I'm not even putting money on.

I'd suggest you just buy a notepad then. Or make your own spreadsheet in exel.

This is supposed to be a system proofing section. There's no problem having the thread as long as you're putting up your selections before the off as you, mainl, have today.

I have to confess i see no problem with folks using this forum to proof their systems be it before ot after the event. To me its just a place to ....hold on a sec...wouldnt the betting record forum be more usefull for this sort of thing? If we want tips before the event then im sure the horse racing forum would be the place for it. if its just a record for our members then betting Records would be ok. As long as we aint getting links to other sites especially paid sites on the thread then i dont have a problem with folks posting as they please. Use our bandwith as we have plenty of it.
