Well my scattergun betting approach to AI betting has backfired with all the odds drifting.. I'm particularly suprised with Chris's, although I suspect the expected backlash from Cowell may be a factor.. Anyhow I'm still comfortable with keeping with him.. Melinda has also drifted, and the less said about the other two cannon fodder the better...

Suprised at 'beat box' Blake's popularity and odds slashing and I aint convinced..

Oh hum, despite the dismal bets so far, I continue to spread my options with a couple more bets on males I suspect will get better and should reach the final twelve.. Although judging by my original bets, what the fcuk do I know..

Yeah, Melinda does seemingly look the most likely and her 'look' is more appealing than say, Lakisha Jones'.

At this stage, I'm not sure if Simon wants someone to deliberately win like he did with Taylor Hicks or someone with actual talent.

If I could lay 'Sanjaya to be eliminated' I would. He isnt going to be eliminated this coming Thursday as much as most AI fans seem to hate his guts like he was Jar Jar Binks. The rest of the market looks about right.

Laid off Chris Sligh for a small profit as I aint as convinced now he's gonna go all the way..

My main greens at this moment are Melinda and Chris Rchardson, with sorry looking bets also on Gina and Brandon..

As for elimination, I'm not convinced that Brandon should be favourite to be evicted. Ok, I am on him with small stakes at 25's, but I reckon with a decent song next week he can make it through to the Final 12..

I'm not a big fan of navy boy Phil Stacey as I feel he is limited in both appeal and vocal ability.. Gonna chance him walking this week..

Well the odds basically suggest that don't they trick...so thats all that collective opinion is reflecting, in which case its probably best to go with your own instincts on this one.

Hmmm. Three of the significant positive market moves as regards who'll be gone on Thursday:

* Stephanie Edwards into 5/1 from 7/1
* Blake Lewis into 6/1 from 20/1 (WTF!?)
* Haley Scarnato into 4/11 from 4/9

The other five market moves are drifters:

* Antonella Barba into 6/4 from 7/5
* Jason 'Sundance' head into 14/1 from 8/1
* Sanjaya Malakar into 'evens' from 10/11
* Sabrina Sloan into 9/2 from 3/1
* Phil Stacey into 11/2 from 5/1



Antonella and Sanjaya are HATED but it doesn't mean there'll be gone on Thursday by any means. If it was a premium rate phone line that votes were cast through, it'd make a heck of a difference though.

I think the 3 males in danger are: Jared Cotter, Brandon Rogers and Phil Stacey.
I think the 3 females in danger are: Gina Glocksen, Haley Scarnato and Stephanie Edwards.

Apropos of nothing in particular.

OT: I stopped going over to 2+2 as I was getting some US guy trying to get me to be his 'mule' to bet at Pinnacle because of the internet gambling legislation (no thanks fella! I don't have the time for one thing!) but the tone over there is ever so slightly racist and they go for the theory that it'll be a Lakisha vs Melinda final (to put it politely)..
