Britain's Got Talent - FINAL
![]() Odds from Bet365 Well, to be honest I havent paid much attention to this series, having caught bits throughout the week.. So with limited knowledge here is my take on the following finalists. Spelbound - Surprisingly massive favourites.. Ok very impressive, but really they are a bit of an 'arty' set of gymnasts/acrobats. Different and Sure to do well, but odds on in some places, I can't touch.. Paul Burling - comedian - Havent seen a great deal of him but he could do well if he does his ITV loved tv burp routine, etc, etc..A comedian certainly could win a show like this..One to watch Janey Cutler - Partially senile 80 year old singer. Will have the Scottish support and the old dears, but you can see her missing the timings of the music. Big lungs and likeable, but can't see her winning.. Chandi the dog - Now we're talkin..A dancing dog.. To be honest this dog is really talented and some of the timed dance moves are unbelievable. The dog didnt even do it's backward hind leg walking in the semi.. I really think the dog has a big chance. One major negative is the owner though..A tad annoying as old freaky dog lovers are that live in the country.. Still the one I like.. Kieren is a great drummer, but surely too much of a niche market appeal...Rough as bear's arse parents don't help either.. Twist and Pulse are geeky dancers. Actually they have real chemistry and are barely out of sync with each. Great dancers and may do well in the evening. Problem is that I'm sure Cowell doesnt want another dance act to win.. Of the rest - Connected - stupid teeny boy band of the future - yeah right.. Tobias - another dancer like whatsisname that won the other year..Chris - Paul Pott wannabe.. Not particularly bullish about my selection, but I reckon it could be the year of the dog..! Chandi the dog to win BGT - 1 pt stake @ 8/1 (VC BET) |

Re: Britain's Got Talent - FINAL
Just a quick point... I'm delaying my bet until I know the running order, as the only influence Cowell does have is the running order. That could bring Connections (the most lucrative for Cowell), Paul Burling, Chandi and Twist & Pulse into contention. The final 3 acts will decide who wins imo. If Spellbound are stuck right at the front of the show, they are finished!
Twist & Pulse's odds are shortening and I might shove 1pt on just to keep me in the game. If any of the acts I've mentioned are in the final three places of the running order, I'll probably go big! |

Re: Britain's Got Talent - FINAL
Sorry no - Was making an assumption.. Apparently it is going to be a new routine tonight, so training a dog in 3 days is no doubt full of problems.. Imagine how long it takes to teach your dog to sit - never mind a full 3 minute stage routine !!

Re: Britain's Got Talent - FINAL
Well I imagine that dog responds to visual cues, so it's more a case of her altering her routine to be honest. It's probably just the money shot elements she has to train.
I suppose it depends on whether she's pushed it too far and the dog's response is "fuck it, I aint doin that, not for biscuit or a freshly cooked kitten!" ![]() |

Re: Britain's Got Talent - FINAL
One wee bet for me...fully expect it to be nobbled by the running order(basically you have to go in the last 3 to have a chance) but hey ho. Dont think they want another street dance winner.
Anyhoo, usual logic suggests that you have to win your semi to stand a chance in the final, but one of the 2nd place acts look like he could recerse fortunes to me. Tobias came second from a very early draw, beaten only by Spellbound who were on last. His stage show was very good, and young dancers have very good form in this. Spellbound are likely to beat him again if given a later slot, but if he receives a late draw, you never know. Twist and Pulse will take a few votes away from him which is a bit annoying, but he's far better than them imo. Its much more difficult to make a duo look good on stage - always lots of little bits out of time. And of course, street dance is everywhere right now - 3D film out etc. I dont think they wanted George Sampson to win a few years ago but he did all the same. All in all, worth a sly tenner or two I think. Tobias Mead @ 60 with Betfair. I'll take a wee bit of 50/1 at sporting bet too which has 1/5 ew top 3. |

Re: Britain's Got Talent - FINAL
As usual good thinking Beanie..
That said, in view of canine calamity looking iminent, I've also took at chance on the geeky street boys Twist n Pulse... Can see them pullin off something bizarrely geeky but at the smae time incredibly well timed and amusing.. Twist n Pulse to win BGT - 1.5 pt stake @ 16.0 (Betfair) |

There's the results for those that don't know. I think Simon's vote is important to be honest Beanie, and Tobias has that! (And I was wondering where you were Beanie)! |

Re: Britain's Got Talent - FINAL
Does he? I've not been watching but thats a bonus.
Im hoping T+P and Tobias do quite different acts, otherwise they could gub each other. A good draw for either and they are in with a decent shout...Im surprised the dance acts are at such big prices(im not including Spelbound as a dance act.) Oh and I think I got muddled thinking Tobias went second in his semi, not 6th, so not as great a result as I thought. |

Re: Britain's Got Talent - FINAL
I'm sure the last 3 years have been a bit of a graveyard for favouirtes in this show.. I'm certain Paul Potts wanst the favourite in the first series - wasnt it that 5 year old lass with no front teeth?
