Nice going dude, was going to follow you with the Gary bet never got around to it, I never got around to laying off my bet on Kieron to be the top male either so I was hoping Gary would go, but at least I'll pick up the place part of my outright bet on Kieron to go with the place part of the top male bet.

Any thoughts on the final, I think ITV will want a Gary v Hayley final 2; both ITV actors and both doing th tour (Kieron isn't). But with Kieron having probably topped the public vote this week will they get it...?

I actualy thought Kieron was better than Gary tonight, he certainly wasn't that far behind him, but Gary does appear to be the favoare with the judges, I imagine Kieron has a chance to make it to the final 2, but at the end of the day I think the battle for top male is also a battle for 2nd place...

Yeah - its definately a one horse race.. Has been pretty much since about Week 3 to be honest..

The top male is definately an interesting market. Fair point regarding the ITV actors, but it appears (if only from the chants in the audience) that Kieron has a following. He does appear to be on a bit of a roll as well.. Must admit Gary's performance was ok and fairly polished if a little bland.. The thing with Kieron is that he has the momentum, he is demonstrating a 'journey' in terms of progress, as evident with him doing more advanced moves this week, and it appears he is popular. The market will be very tight, and I guess until the odds appear it's a waiting game, but I do think Kieron could be the one to be on for Top Male..

Just as I thought - the bookies are struggling to split the boys, although evens is available for Kieron..

Not sure about a bet.. One I am eyeing up is 5/6 for Kieron to get over 24.5 for the flying routine.. No financial commitment made as yet though..

Well it's the Grand Final tonight, and barring a decapitation by a skating blade, the title is surely Haley's?

That said at 1/5 it aint really that appealing.

The male market is intriguing mind, at the bookies are really struggling to seperate them, and I am too.. The gut feeling tells me that Kieron may get to the final 2, but it aint worth the risk of a bet..

This week begins with the flying routine.. Generally the final is a bit of a mutual back slapping routine where the judges acknowledge how far they have got with slightly more generous scores.. The flying routine has only on one occasion in 4 series' and 12 contestants awarded a score less than 25, and that was to Donal the donkey, who to be fair shouldnt have got to the final. However he did and he got 23.5..

Kieron is a better skater imo, and his slight physique should help in this routine. He is improving week on week, and his last 2 weeks scores have been 23, therefore he should overcome the handicap of 24.5 he has been given with Bluesq (5/6 above or below) based on the facts above.. 5/6 is a shit margin I know, but I am very bullish about this coming in..

Unlucky dude, Kieron has been undermarked in comparison to the others from what i've see/read most weeks, not sure if that was the case tonight as Gary hasn't gone yet, but its fairly obvious the judges favour Gary over him. Kieron now the favorate to be top man but I can't see it myself, might just be being pessimistic though, we'll see...
