Starts tonight on Channel 4..It's meant to be replacing Celebrity Big Brother after last years events.. God knows what it's about so I guess it's a watching brief at the mo ..

The Little Britain star is taking over Big Brother...

Matt Lucas is, of course, one half of the comedy duo behind Little Britain. And while his on-screen partner David Walliams might have swum the Channel and met the Queen, Matt has the glory of being the first all-powerful Celebrity Hijacker. Do your worst, Mr Man. Oh yeah...

TV swivelled round - gonna have an early dip into the markets as the prices go haywire.

I think the strategy here could be to ignore the usual profiles of winners - the whole point of this show(it seems) is for celebs to play about with the rules, so expect loads of surprises I reckon.

Early doors(and probably all through the series) gonna be looking to oppose the traditional(and hopefully market) favourites and land some big odds

So off we go. Big John in first - plump scottish politician fella. Matt Lucas gives hime earpeice in order to tell him what to say.

If he passes he gets immunity until final, if he fails he is up every week.

Calista in next, posh musical type.

Then Anthony, cocky boxer.

John not enjoying being told what to say and do - making him sound ridiculous. Gonna built up a big sympathy vote this - its virtually bullying! If he passes he's gonna be in a very strong position.

Emilia and Victor now. Circus act...seem annoying. She's very hot tho.

Jeremy next - racing driver. Sounds like a twat. John still getting picked on - big lad doing well tho - favourite so far on Betfair.

Victor and Emelia, the Same Difference of the circus world? They have chemistry??

Saying that I was well impressed with their act, do you think they'll get to do that in the house?

After saying I'd back outsiders I've started with John @ 6.40. The exposure he's getting so far can't be a bad thing and he has possible immunity until the end. Not many other contenders so far either.

Will look to lay off later tonight after Lucas gives him more awkward stuff to say for what should be a decent wee start.

Big John...You get the impression already he's gonna be extremely hard to beat...Under normal circumstances ..

However I guess as you say, it's all about the hijacker, so we shall see...

Amy next - bit wierd...cleans stuff in the name of conceptual art...even used condoms

Another plus for John is that this is the only show that will be on C4 - so his moment of fame is gonna be seen by a far bigger audience than will usually watch.

Can't imagine John will fail the task either - Lucas won't fail him for this even though he hasn't done absolutely everything.
