I know i was a bit 'section and category' about this forum when it was opened and thats why it's here. Maybe now there is no big brother forum etc would this forum be better off in the 'sports betting' section? Up to you i am just mentioning

Well I for one am against it (as you would suspect). Obviously if there are strong views for it being absorbed into another forum by people within TDP who have influence and obviously don’t spend a lot of time in here, so be it as we wouldn’t have a choice anyhow...

However there is more activity in here than in some of the other forums..(cricket and rugby forums spring to mind..)

I just think it would be a shame as I don’t believe there is a forum out in the web that specialises in this sort of betting opportunity other than TDP (apart from Betfair’s own forum), and if someone can point out a forum within here that has picked out a 33/1, 9.2/1 5/1, 9/4 and 6/5 winner in the past couple of weeks then I’ll be more than impressed..

I'm with Trick, If you want to absorb some of the other sports categories into the Other Sports forum then so be it!

However, the Special Betting Markets forum isn't a sports forum so shouldn't be lumped in with the rest of them. As Trick also says, it's been a very successful forum recently with some big priced winner and has generated a great deal of activity.

I, for one, enjoying having all the Special Markets together and would no doubt get frustrated should I have to wade through hockey, boxing and pool threads just to find the Miss World thread or such like. No doubt it would be reciprocated by the Other Sports bettors having to wade through a load of Special Betting Markets to find their threads.

In short, No! Leave it as is Komp, I see no benefit of it being absorbed anywhere else on the site!

I am with Trick also Komp.

Look through the threads. They are doing better than the majority of threads around TDP with some huge winners being had.

Things are only going to get better as the forum and threads become more popular.

I think youve all misread me here. I dont mean getting rid of it (remember i fought hard to make it happen) i mean moving it up in its present state to the sports betting section

aye the amount of shit i got when i said that we needed a special betting forum and i was told that we didnt. I said it would be a great wee place for special bettors and the like but was told 'no it wouldnt'. Twice i tried to open the forum and was knocked back. Slick went and opened it a few months later unknown to him the shit i got and look at it now. as i said i did fight long and hard to make the special Betting forum happen and i certainly wouldnt be looking at getting rid. I just felt a bit sorry for it down here with betting records etc
