Just listening to the Competitive Eating podcast over at Eatcast. It makes for some pretty interesting listening with regards to Chestnut, Kobayashi and Bertoletti.

Bertoletti has been beating Chestnut in the past month or so, but that's been in the grits, wings, ribs and waffle categories. The guys reckon Chestnut excels at 'dogs and burgers and will have been preparing for Krystals rather than the other contests.

They were also saying they wouldn't be surprised to see Chestnut smash the current record, possibly hitting the 130 mark!

Think I may have a bit of the 100+ bet after all!

Even Bertoletti has admitted that Chestnut is the better eater when it comes to 'dogs and burgers. He predicts he can do 100 or more on his own.

Ok it's the proverbial last words, but Chestnut at 11/10 looks like a done deal... Sooooo...$50 on that..

I've also had $50 on the 100+ burgers.. Feel it may take the 100+ threshold for the victory and the odds are great methinks...

Nothing on the Krystals site yet, but there's an in-running commentary here, which say Joey officially has 103 burgers.

Nothing embarrassing about it, it's a niche sport and we've taken advantage of some odds that we thought were value.

Very nice work fellas. A shame I didn't take a chance on the 100+ being achieved but hey, better than a punch in the throat.

The only worry is being paid by Bodog now!
