Re: Four Nations Series 2010 (23rd Oct-13th Nov)
I can't see any odds around at the moment Youthlad but I'm always wary of betting on any warm up games.
The Maori teams is as follows... NEW ZEALAND MAORI: Kevin Locke (NZ Warriors), Sandor Earl (Penrith), Timana Tahu (Parramatta), Clinton Toopi (Gold Coast), Arana J Taumata (North Queensland), Rangi Chase (Castleford), Jeremy Smith (Wakefield), Willie Heta (Otahuhu), Aaron Heremaia (NZ Warriors), Weller Hauraki (Crusaders), Justin Horo (Parramatta), Bodene Thompson (Gold Coast), Kevin Proctor (Melbourne), James Tamou (North Queensland), Sam McKendry (Penrith), Russell Packer (Vodafone Warriors). One player to be added from Kiwis. Coach: Richie Blackmore. Only 16 players were named but it's expected a player from the Kiwis will be released to appear for the Maori, that has the makings of some side considering all play in either the NRL or Superleague. |

Re: Four Nations Series 2010 (23rd Oct-13th Nov)
Odds now up for the Maori game......
New Zealand Maori v England Book Closes 16 Oct-06:00 Match Result New Zealand Maori 4.50 Tie 26.00 England 1.20 Handicap odds New Zealand Maori +12.0 1.90 Hcap Tie - England -12.0 17.00 England -12.0 1.90 Odds Bet365 Ehhm! not bad odds for the Maoris is it considering its just a warm up game and they look a pretty decent outfit, Its not like England are going to break a leg so to speak and the Kiwis and Aussies love this type of friendly game and usually go out to impress. I've just been watching a preview of the game aswell and even the England players don't know much about them, depending on the coaches for info about what to expect. link can be found here.. England Rugby League I don't know what to do as I can't admit to knowing much about the Maoris either , I might just have a wee bet on the Maori's with the handicap at +12. |

Re: Four Nations Series 2010 (23rd Oct-13th Nov)
This weekends fixtures Sat 23rd- Sun 24th
Match Result New Zealand 1.16 Tie 26.00 England 5.00 Match Result Australia 1.001 Tie 67.00 Papua New Guinea 51.00 Handicap betting.. New Zealand -14.0 1.90 Hcap Tie - England +14.0 17.00 England +14.0 1.90 Australia -50.0 1.90 Hcap Tie - Papua New Guinea +50.0 17.00 Papua New Guinea +50.0 1.90 I'm going out in 5 mins so haven't got time to write much but that Handicap on England looks much to low, this is the game England need to win and the one they have been gearing up for, they put in a half decent performance last weekend albeit resting a couple of players and taking their eye of the ball in the 2nd half but everything was prepping for this game. I'm not saying England will win allthough its a good possibility but I can see them running the Kiwi's very close , I've not had a scout about to see if theres a better handicap knocking about as I don't have time but have just taken England +14 @ 1.9's bet365. I'm not bothering with the Aussies as the amount they win by will depend on what mood they're in. |

Re: Four Nations Series 2010 (23rd Oct-13th Nov)
Bit unlucky there were England. Got outplayed first half 2nd half they scored twice to make it 18-10 had one ruled out which would of been given in super league and from that would NZ scored. So a tad unlucky if they had been allowed it they could of won it

Re: Four Nations Series 2010 (23rd Oct-13th Nov)
Well after watching last weeks matches I wouldn't be suprised to see England get thumped here as England's defence looked shambolic, making Graham captain looks to be a huge mistake. I've no doubt McNamara will ring some changes but I just can't see anyway they will get near the Aussies who will love nothing better than to give us a walloping, I hope I'm wrong but I'm beginning to fear the worst.
Aussie Win -20 @ 1.90 |

Re: Four Nations Series 2010 (23rd Oct-13th Nov)
Final score was 34-14 to the Aussies, thats twice now in this comp the bookies have nailed the handicap and about the 8th time this year it has caught me out.
When i get time I might have a go at a system to bag the draws as the size of odds on a rugby handicap tie does give us a bit of lee-way. |
