Re: Rugby League 6-8th August
Right then today im being very optimistic im of to the match got to leave in a hour doh. We Have Lautiti out injured again after on game back and Ablett is suspended after losing his appeal against his 3 game ban. We have the usual Kirke and Eastmond out as well so most of our Second Row out. But on the plus side we have Burrows and Diskin back today which is a big boost especially the Burrows/Senior defensive partnership. In the last 3 cup games we have lost to St Helens but we managed to do them every year in the Grand Final. This year our aim has been focused on the Challenge Cup not the League hence our bad League form and no one can deny that as the players have admitted this as well, they want to get there and they know they will qualify for the play offs in the league anyway. In lasts weeks game against Wigan we didnt really put to much effort into the game and didnt look like they wanted to be there (minds focused on the cup). St Helens had a very hard match and would of been mentally and physically drained from it, If we can play our rugby and play a solid match like we do against them in the Grand Finals we will win today, if we cut out our mistakes and keep our heads we have won. We can beat St Helens we have proved that time and time again hence were back to back to back champions. So with that being said im taking us to win today
20 pts @ 2.25 And also Under 46 points 10 points @ evens So anyway have a good weekend guys and hurrah the footie season is back today i cant wait going to be a good afternoon , wins for Both Leeds teams hopefully. Watch out for me in the the crowd if anyone is watching ![]() |

Re: Rugby League 6-8th August
Warrington are very in and out - can be brilliant, can be shocking. Catalans improved a great deal in recent weeks but shouldnt be good enough if the wire turn up (which they might not if Saints await them in the final
). IF Leeds beat Saints id expect Warrington to proper thump Cats and cover the -12 , IF Saints win I wouldnt touch this game Regarding the other match, Leeds win it for me, but wouldnt bet |

Re: Rugby League 6-8th August
Good man Grim, that was my worst set of rugby picks ever I think and I wouldn't mind i was pretty confident on all of them.
Leeds deserved the win over 80mins and they did well to come back because going in at half time i thought the writing was on the wall for them once Saints had built up that momentum, but Leeds came storming back and produced a mammoth effort bouncing back every time they went behind. Leeds wanted it more and they got it. I was shocked to see Catalans get thumped in that manner too, they did everything right in the build up to this semi but just never turned up on the day, Warrington obviously deserve a pat on the back for their performance too but Catalans could have and should have made a better show of it. Still with Warrington going through it makes the final even better, what a game that should turn out to be, congratulations to both sides anyhow as they deserve it. |
