Re: Weekend RFL 30TH - 2ND..
I need a good think about these considering there all being played in Scotland.
Stand out bet to me looks like Wigan who will be looking to bounce back after suffering their first home defeat last week to Quins, could be the kick up the arse they need as they were becoming slightly complacent after steamrollering most sides this season. Team news will be vital though considering Roberts has been out for a couple of weeks and expected to be out for at least another month and Richards limped off last weekend, I'd feel a lot more confident were either of these two playing as they do rack up points especially Richards as they need his kicking prowess. Huddersfield are going great guns too but there could be a bit of unrest in the camp as skipper Brett Hodgson has declined to sign a new contract preferring it seems to sign for Warrington next season and coach Nathan Brown playing down rumours he may return to OZ at the end of the season. I'll take Wigan -4 so long as Richards plays. |

Re: Weekend RFL 30TH - 2ND..
Can you guys think of any reason why featherstones handicap is so low at Widnes tonight.
Widnes only just beat Batley last week and they are very poor this year. I watched Barrow hammer them by nearly 50 points a couple of weeks ago. Featherstone are the only team at Barrows standard this year and beat them at Barrow early on in the season. Featherstone thrashed keighley last week and are on fire. Woudl the death of there young hooker this week not spur them on to play better? you can get 5/6 SCR at stan james and 10/11 (-2) everywhere else Last edited by jollycarlton : 30-04-2010 at 12:12. Club Devastated Friday 30th April 2010 Tributes continue to be placed at the club from friends and supporters devastated by the tragic events of last weekend. The scene, and of course the overall mood, at the club is one of shock and deep sadness. Our prayers and thoughts are with all those who knew Gareth. Representatives from the club and the RFL Benevolent Fund met with the family today and can report that whilst they are still trying to come to terms with the loss of Gareth, they are overwhelmed and very grateful for the support from everybody involved with the Rugby League family. Charlie Tosh was due to undergo surgery today to repair and reset his many broken bones. He is still critically ill and remains on a ventilator but he is fighting his injuries, our thoughts and prayers are also with Charlie and his family. |

Wouldn't disagree with Quins mean streets, they have put in three very strong performances on the bounce and should take a lot from last weeks victory at Wigan, good time to catch Hull too as they are still racked by Injurys to some key players, thats a pretty tidy price on the level and the one i would have picked too.

Re: Weekend RFL 30TH - 2ND..
I'm not so sure about the other games as the handicap doesn't seem to be taking into account these games are being played on a neutral ground and with the handicaps being offered they look a close call especially when you take in the Injury list of the respective clubs.
I'm tempted to go with Cass on the level but don't know whether to trust them just on the back of last weeks win against Salford for as good as it was as they were stuttering before that, I fancy them for the victory but doubt i'll be putting money on it, the bookies have pretty much nailed this weeks games imo. |
