Re: Super League 23-25th April
Soz Wins I was writing that post in spurts while doing other things and didn't see your post , I'm pretty much the same as you but Wigans home form swung it for me. Same too with Hull, would have jumped on them on that handicap if it wasn't for Injurys so decided to play it safe by going on the level.

Wigan -18 with a couple of firms at 1.73, sorry 1.91 now gone
I'm with you Slick on Wigan. Couldn't get into the site earlier. Last week I ended up taking Quins on the cap and a tasty 2/1 on the match odds. Not after timing as I really could not access the site! Today I will be mosty eating Pies and a couple of other things. I am not confident enough to mention the other things on here. Quins have improved significantly in recent weeks, but Pies have been with a different gravy at home. Will forgive them the 32 points conceded at Sheffield in the Challenge Cup. And I'll be opposing the team I backed last week. Let's hope I'm not eating humble pies come 2145 this evening. ![]() Wigan -18 was 1.91 first thing this morning and I also had, a medium bet on Huddersfield -8 1.91, at Crusaders and a small dabble on Hull -8 1.91 despite their injury crisis. May bail out of the Hull cap bet and switch to match odds like yoy slick! The Pies however carry most of my hard earned cash. |

Re: Super League 23-25th April
Sorry about last week Devo, the site was down for 4 days but it was out of our hands as it was a fault with the server providers, we didn't get back online whilst Monday so there were no picks anywhere to be found.
Where did you see -18's m8 for Wigan, 4 points is a huge differerence and may be worth me checking out in future before i put the handicaps up. Don't be afraid to post your thoughts either, nobody will knock anybodys picks on TDP but it can create good discussion and more different view points the better as you may pick up on something that somebody has overlooked. Good pick on Quins too last week, I never expected them to run Saints that close. |

Re: Super League 23-25th April
Bloody hell just spotted the Wigan score, thought they were going to romp it at half time but Quins have got right back into the game.
Time to get GMR on and see whats going on, GMR can be accessed through TDP radio under the name 'BBC radio Manchester'. |

Re: Super League 23-25th April
Biggest game of the weekend has to be Saints v Leeds which is a tough tough game to call, this time a few weeks ago you would have put your house on Saints to win this but Leeds have come right back into form which is probably par for the course with them as they seem to do it every year.
i expect fireworks in this match as theres no love lost between these two and I'm if Saints can turn it on like they did against Wigan the other week then I can see them sneaking this, No Handicap for me though looking at those odds as you can get better odds on the level. Saints win @ 1.98 |

Re: Super League 23-25th April
That result should kick Warrington into gear as they themselves have been a bit lack lustre of late, they will want to take advanage of tonights wigan defeat to try and get right back up there with them.
Second top v Second Bottom, lets hope there's not a theme running to results this weekend. Briers was well rested last weekend for the cup game against Featherstone and hopefully should be nearing full fitness again. Warrington win -20 @ 1.90 If that bet dips then its the last time I will be touching the large handicaps as I've never liked them and it was only Winrews huddersfield bet coming in a fortinight ago that made me try my hand at them so its all his fault ![]() |

Re: Super League 23-25th April
Wigan were pissing the handicap at half time Wins, then just capitulated in the 2nd half, I knew Quins had improved but that was something else, just goes to show how much they depend on Richards and Roberts , Roberts was allready out but once Richards got Injured it appears they threw in the towel once Quins gathered a head of steam.

Re: Super League 23-25th April
Thats the spirit Devo
![]() now post up your other thoughts, believe it or not i was 50/50 whether to pick quins or wigan on that handicap, never in a million yrs would i or anybody else have selected Quins on the level, which just goes to show don't fear anything about posting up your picks be it confidence or otherwise. |
