Re: RBS Six Nations 2010

One more for Twickenham based on the close game thinking. This HT/FT with Bills is fair odds.

4pts HT/FT England/Wales @ 15/2

You can get France at -6 at Stan James, Will Hill and Sportingbet. I thought you were a serious gambler?

Italy +21
Wales +4
France -6

g'luck!
I'll have some of that with you Pie Chucker as well as a bit on the England Wales draw at 26 on betfair

following reading your post pie on ireland low scoring wins i went looking for one of my favourite international rugby bets ...the h.t. handicap , can't find it , bet365 used to have it last season , I would be backing Italy +10 at h.t. if it was available
If anyone find that bet please let me know
The loss of 2/3rds of our first choice front row has made me is holding me back , but I suppose by tomorrow morning the rugby bug will have me backing wales again
I took a tenner on it the other night whist at that price. TBH I only discovered it cos a Welsh mate asked me what the best bet on Wales to win at the weekend would be ? He needed to use up a £10 bonus for signing up to Bet365 a while back just to get a good stream. Seemed well out of line compared to any other handicaps. I've a feeling it's going to be a tight affair anyway.

Yeh VC were the only one's matching that price, but as it was the only handicap they were offering, heard they were limiting apparently....

Weren't even willing to take £20 bet on the HC according to a mate that tried.

Re: RBS Six Nations 2010

Blimey - Ireland looked all over the Beardies, yet only won the second half 6-3. Very lucky to get away with the 21 margin. Oh well. Crap call, but good result.

duff call

Re: RBS Six Nations 2010

Looking to get w/e back on track after bloody Wales shipped 17 sin bin points...

Scotland v France

There's a mood of misty optimism at Murrayfield after the (rubbish game) win over tired Australia in the Autumn. Robinson has got some belief into the Scots but that can get you only so far. If you picked a combined XV out of these two teams you'd surely have 12 Frogs. And about 4 of them would be in a World XV. Plus one from the bench!

Scotland will try to keep it tight/territorial and hope the ref and Paterson's boot can keep them in it. Frogs have a tough/mobile pack and 12 & 13 present a monster challenge to Scot's defence... and there's 6'4" of Rougerie back on the wing.

I think the camel coats have got this wrong at 6 or 7 points. No team impressed yesterday - it was mainly rubbish all round. Here's a chance for France to really stamp their authority on the 6N.

But will they? It's the old passion v flair bollox. I'm with the Frogs, with confidence. Four tries to zip, done and dusted, tills ringing.

25 pts France -7 @ evens
2pts BUY France/Scotland shirts @ 15

Re: RBS Six Nations 2010

hi pie , i had a bad day yesterday with Ireland overcoming the ht cap and the sinbinning of Alun Wyn Jones [ allegedly one of the most intelligent players in the Wales squad ...what must the others be like , rant over ]

I'm leanig towards the French -7 as the performances of their sides in the Heineken have been good , its their inconsistency away from home that is a worry , he 9/10 partnership of Trinh-Duc/Parra would not be my choice but I must admit to being a fan of Elissalde , the French backrow is very powerful and that is factor that has swung me for a French win
France -7 2.0 with bet365

Re: RBS Six Nations 2010

yeah, Frogs failed to kick-on with all in their favour. Still, fair profit on that to turn Saturday loss into +21 pts for weekend. Up an on. France -3 in Paris to be the bookie view?
