Well traeth now you've got the "goggles" off put on your specs & reread my post.

As you know I'm Irish but I live in France so I have not been contaminated by all the "hype". Tbh the French are barely aware of what the "Lions" are (bar a tasty chocalte bar that is) .

I never said ROG was blameless. I did say it was just one of many "faults" made in the tests & pre-test games. As I said if we want to play the blame game then there are targets at every post, be they Leeks, Thistles, Roses or Shamrocks. Take your pick .

I will say that it is unfair to blame one individual for the loss of the series and I think you know that & agree with me .

I'm hoping for a good game of rugby .
But in view of the "declarations" on both sides I think we'll see "handbags" all over the place, so most likely a damp squid.
I think a lot of the "dirt-trackers" will be hoping for a call up to show what they can do but I'm expecting the Boks to be even dirtier than usual so most likely cards, penalties etc and a generally poor game, more's the pity .

Deep down I hope I'm wrong .

Well I feel I have to back the Lions (God help me!) but as of now PP has a nice +11 @10/11 which looks tasty enough to me .

Whatever I do it won't be big stakes, no matter what the spin says this is a "nothing" game..............unfortunately.

hi pie , i agree with you , especially with a lightweight backrow, lions front five good enough but the bench is a bit thin of backs , last week the lions lost it when the subs had to come on , i can it being the same again this week

last week i had a bet on the first scoring play being a drop goal [ one of your type of bets pie] ,it lost but jones managed one before half time , so i might have another attempt this week

my main bet will be South Africa - 8
