Re: Rugby Union: Guiness & Magners

Its very rare that you see leicester with a + 10 handacap against any team in the premiership, but looking at the team they named I'm begining to like the look of bath more and more. Leicester are starting without 10 regulars, they're form has been very average of late and bath at full strength have been mightedly impressive at home this season.

A few other factors to consider are: bath did'nt play at the weekend and are fresher, there is fierce rivalry between the two and they be out to punish the tigers. On the other hand leicester are in real danger of not making the play offs this year and desperately need a boost after the edf humiliation.

All in all bath - 10 @ 9/10 for me

Re: Rugby Union: Guiness & Magners

The other game is a lot trickier to call. I think Wasps are pretty much a banker to win this but Sale at close to full strenght and on decent form might do enough to beat the 8pt spread.Having said that wasps mainly second team were mighty impressive in their destruction of worcester at the weekend. Their form in the leauge has been tremendous and they have the air of champions about them already.

Wasps -8pts @ 9/10

Re: Rugby Union: Guiness & Magners

Had another think about the wasps/sale game and am going to leave the handicap alone. Sale will need a least a losing bonus point tonight to stay in the hunt. Going to do a bath -10 wasps outright double instead

Re: Rugby Union: Guiness & Magners

Good nights rugby, nice to have a game on early in the week, Was happy with my own double but glad yours came in as well. For the record danny cipriani kicked a penalty from inside his own half with a minute left to give wasps the ten point lead.

Wasps all the way this year.

Re: Rugby Union: Guiness & Magners

Ok , Ok , enough slagging (sorry dods ;-) )

Just a few words; Munster will prob. rest O'Gara against the Ospreys & may keep a few others in reserve for the H-Cup semi, not really a surprise after last weeks defeat at Leinster.

Leinster can win the Magners this WE with a win over Edinburgh. very important for a team who has promised so much and delivered so little. BOD is likely to be on the bench but may start.

Brilliant, no doubt your machine is working flat out .

I have nothing against you DOD except the low level marketing you are trying to pull. I've been over to your place even before you brought in the modifications to boost memberships.
TDP is far from perfect but you are all on your lonesome in PP.
I am just an ordinary member here and we have had a few words about aftertiming.

In the past & forgotten from my POV.

I'm pretty much up to speed on the frog end and you have you're strong points elsewhere. Lets just leave it at that.

I would love to be in a more rugby focussed forum with a wider view but for the mo' thats not an option. We'll have to put up with what we have.
If we don't like it? we know what to do .

'Till then lets help each other out with whatever info we have so that we (& no doubt a few silent partners) make a few quid each weekend and keep the bookies crying

Bets of luck,

Snodser.
