Re: Rugby Union: Guiness & Magners
This is definetely a bet i will be taking tomorrow: Quins -8 at evens. Big fan of deano and what he's achieving with quins. Quins are pushing hard for a top four finish and you'd have to question newcastles motivation as they cant be relegated and cant win anything either. Change of management at newcastle may pay off long term but at the moment they seem to be seriously lacking in confidence.
QUINS - 8 @ evens |

Leinster v Munster Anyone got team news? I've heard O'Driscoll is out & O'Driscoll is in , for O'Connell who's on the bench.Stringer for O'Leary, Contepomi at 13, Foley for Wallace. Confused , you should be ![]() That said, IF O'Gara plays, Munster +4 evns BS looks good value. |

Re: Rugby Union: Guiness & Magners
Kidney has nonsensed any suggestions that this was a nothing by feilding a full strenght team. There was talk over here that with lienster out of sight in the league and Magnificent Munster in the semi's again that he might rest 6/7 players. With that painful defeat in cork in november still on the brain the red machine will be hungry for revenge. Leinster have been very impressive in the league of late and in a very unlikely leinster way they have been winning it through their forwards.
I'm extremely biased so the only neutral bet I have is points total under 38 @ 10/11. The forecast for dublin is poor and historically these games have been tight. |

Re: Rugby Union: Guiness & Magners
not sure about that redroar
It'll be close on the scoreboard I'd say, but maybe not low-scoring. In the last 3 years they've met 7 times and only 3 have been under 38 points - the 10-3 in Musgrave park in the storm in November last, the 25-11 from Musgrave the previous year, and the 30-6 from the HEC 2006 semi. Most of the matches with Leinster at home have been the higher-scoring ones too. You have to go back to 2004 and 2003 (when the clashes were fairly toothless affairs between 2nd string sides at the start of september) for lower scoring ones (i.e. below 38). Full stats here The forecast isn't that bad and the ground is firm, so I think the over would be better value there. Bet 365 have +35 @ 1.91 |
