Sydney v Canberra (+6)

The Roosters have had a couple of poor performances and also a week off because of the bye, but they have a very good pack of forwards led by a very good stand-off in Braith Anasta. I expect the Roosters to win this game and cover the start. They are one of the better bets from this weekend's action in the NRL and they can end their two-game losing streak against the Raiders.

Re: NRL - Aussie Rugby League

Like last week, this week's set of fixtures are tricky due to the International match today between Australia and New Zealand - most clubs have players returning from international duty and may play or not.

Going to go with the Monday game - giving the players a bit more time to recover.

12 May 10:00 Melbourne Storm vs Newcastle Knights

Storm -8.5pts @4/5 with B365

Hope to get back on winning track...ave a good weekend

C'mon the Hoops !!!

Re: NRL - Aussie Rugby League

Alright Snodser,

To be honest I bet on all weekend NRL fixtures - two small accums and a single on the selection I post up here. Don't win that often on the accum's as there's always one that'll let you down - well me anyway.

What I'll do from now on is post up a NAP and NB - don't slate me if it all goes tits up !

Squads depleted this week due to upcoming origin of state games, so have to be careful when selecting a bet.

NAP - Panthers -2.5pts @10/11 with B365 playing 18 May 05:00 vs NZ Warriors
NB - Sea Eagles -10.5pts @4/5 with B365 playing 17 May 10:30 vs NQ Cowboys

Good luck and enjoy the weekend

If you don't mind me saying , stay away from those accums its defo the "primrose path to perdition" .

The reason I prefer B365 is it's 2 way betting - h'cap w/o draw
Got burned one week when it ended a h'cap draw - so eliminating the chance of that happening again
