Just starting on the BBC , Leeds v Wigan , form goes out of the window in this match , although , i would be tempted to go for Leeds -8.

Re: Challenge Cup (11th May - 13th May )

Whitehaven v Catalans

Haven have been one of the most consistent teams outside of the Super League over the last three years .

20 points start with most bookies seems very generous.
I`ll have a punt on the half time @ 11/10 with a +8 handicap for Haven , i can see them still being in the game at that point.

I`ll also go for a Haven win with +20 start @ 10/11 , main worry for me is the star man at Catalans , Stacey Jones...

Re: Challenge Cup (11th May - 13th May )

The draw for the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup will take place at 1645 BST on Tuesday and will be televised live on BBC News 24.
For the first time since Super League started 12 years ago the last eight is filled solely by top-flight clubs.

Heard on the radio that the matches will be played in Barcelona

Re: Challenge Cup (11th May - 13th May )

Heres the full draw...

Quarter-final draw
Wigan v Harlequins
St Helens v Warrington
Hull FC v Catalans Dragons
Bradford v Huddersfield

The St Helens-Warrington tie will be staged on Saturday 9 June at 1215 BST and shown live on the BBC, who will also screen the Bradford-Huddersfield game the following day, with a 1415 kick-off.

Thought they would have shown the Wigan match tbh , good luck with the bet K33 .........

Wigan are the big movers in the Challenge Cup market following the draw for the semi-finals.

The 17-times winners face Catalans Dragons while holders and Super League champions St Helens will take on Bradford for a place in the first final at the new Wembley.

The matches will be played on the weekend of July 28-29 with venues to be announced in due course.

The draw throws up the possibility of a repeat of the 2002 and 2004 finals, played at Murrayfield and the Millennium Stadium respectively, the former won by Wigan and the latter by Saints.

And Brian Noble's Wigan have seen their price chopped across the board after the draw.

They were 9/2 beforehand but are now no better than 11/4 with BetFred.

Their opponents have shown improvement in their second Super League season and reached the last four with a hard-fought 26-23 success over 2005 winners Hull on Sunday to reach the last four but they are the rank outsiders to go all the way at 20/1 with Blue Square.

St Helens have been eased slightly to 10/11 by bet365 while Bradford can be backed at 9/2 with Sky Bet.

Saints and Bradford have a strong cup rivalry having met three times in the final in the summer era, although the Merseysiders came out on top each time in 1996, 1997 and 2001.
