Well there you go - I achieved it in 4 bets so I was ahead of the planned 5-bet schedule..

Thanks chaps..I am pleased to be the first success story of the 'Rags to Riches' forum..

To be fair this particular forum encourages reckless gambling and generally goes against my normal betting thought process (I currently have a seperate large betting bank I try to be disciplined with), as well as many other regulars who probably despise the place... However if you can treat the forum as a laugh and accept that it won't - on the whole - be a profitable exercise, then I think there this forum should do ok, and hopefully there will be a few more success stories..

I won't be doing this every week, but as I'm on a roll , I'll be back this weekend..(I already have my tenner set aside in my Betfair account)

Just as an update I actually ended up buying the Tevion DVD Recorder from Aldi (£229.99). It has a 160 gb hard drive and also plays DivX - always handy ..So far so good..I havent really tried all the options available but it's doing the job..
