hi quandrum can you explain to me how this works again cos i spent a tenner this week on doing from trebles up to a ten fold all for 1p on first goalscorers only got three right and returned £4.67 but still did better than i thought lol
i am going to have a go at it with this 1p thing for interest and do i put every bet on cos that costs me £9.67 from trebles up rather than what you say your stake is
The key difference K33nan is that i don't do trebles or 4-folds, for that matter i don't do 6,7,8,9,10 either. This is purely a 5-fold system.
Not recommending it as getting 5 right is far from easy (as everyone knows), got lucky early on here but nowt since. I'm gonna pull up some stats from this soon to work out what my averarge hit rate is. It's gonna be 1.x i think and then i'll have to look at whether it's worth doing in singles as MrM is on his thread or if dropping down to doubles would make it a steady if less spectacular winner.
Quandram what do you reckon to these we'll have to see how many we both get right.
Liverpool - Gerrard 11/2
Bolton - Speed 14/1
Boro - Downing 12/1
Chelsea - Shevchenko 4/1
Man Utd - Rooney 4/1
Portsmouth - Kanu 7/1
West Ham - Boa Morte 12/1
Arsenal - Henry 4/1
Everton - Johnson/Cahill not sure yet 6/1 or no price ATM
Spurs - Lennon 9/1
I think that's a tidy mix of favourites and slightly more outside shots. Would have taken Anelka for Bolton myself (obvious i know but i think he'll come good again) and i'm not a big Downing fan so would probably have skipped him (plucking a name at random) Arca
I def. like the Boa Morte one though and might just have a nibble on that myself.

Having now realised that when Sporting Odds specify a minimum stake of 1 euro, they're talking about the bet as a whole, not each separate part (i.e. with Quandram's 252 combinations, you don't have to stake 1 euro per combination, just the overall cost of the bet has to be over 1 euro), I may have a go at something similar in the Spanish leagues. I've come to the conclusion in recent months that I can't pick my own arse, let alone a winning bet, but at least it's a damn sight cheaper losing on this kind of bet
