Playing cash poker like a tourny...
Last few days I have been playing cash tables but kind of like a tournament structure..
I have been buyin in for 50x BB and my aim is to double up and then move up to the next level where I am aim to double up again.. my target is 4 double ups 25c/50c (buyin $25) double up then... 50c/$1 (buyin $50) double up then... $1/$2 (buyin $100) double up then... $2/$4 (buyin $200) double up to $400 its kind of like a tourny structure in a way in the sense that the blinds are getting higher as i progress like they do in a tournament.. im starting with a smal buyin looking to turn it into a much bigger one.. worst case scenario is -$25 but if i hit my target then its at least +$375 for a few hrs of playing.. sometimes also the original $25 is covered by doubles ups that go over the double..so its no lose like earlier i was on $39 and doubled up when i flopped set vs an overpair so this gave me $78 and i went and bought into 50c/$1 for $50 which left me $28 so i still was still making $3 if i lost the $50 (which i did after running it up to $170 on $1/$2) It is abit of a buzz and good fun for a few hrs for a small outlay, started doing it on monday and i have had 14 attempts at starting with $25 and getting it to $400 and so far i have suceeded twice and overall since monday i am $511 in profit.. my aim is to also have a bash of hitting 7 double ups and turning $25 into $3200 in 1 night ![]() Normal cash is just driving me crazy ATM.. every passing week the ridiculous 2 outers on the river are just get worse and worse.. a least now when i get mugged on the river by a 5% shot im losing peanuts rather than full stack $100's and having more fun |
